If you say that builders is not a problem it does not mean that it is not problem for everyone (and bunch of topics are proof of that). So you may be just got lucky to don’t have those trolls on your server.
Also for example I can say that muskets and bows aren’t problem for me so don’t nerf muskets (as tank with tower shield I can ignore them). But does this mean that they aren’t problem overall? No.

Nah dude. I agree that I think they need to use more than just ore to be able to repair doors, but don’t worry, after a minute of slamming the door they’re just going to get mad and start insulting you .
The real trick is to not leave them alone for half the match so they can’t stockpile a bunch of materials, but people don’t want to do that because they just want to stat pad instead.
I’ve been on both sides of the “door”, and I dont see the problem.
Door repairers do eventually run out of materials.
You can also go and kill them while they are gathering resources. Most pve gatherers are not top tier pvp players, just players trying to get some points on the board to get their rewards and 2 gypsum for the day. Go knock them out and take their mats.
I’ve been on both sides of the stick and it’s not a big deal. You can farm for the first 5 minutes, upgrade the doors and repair them for about 1 minute if you have enough resources. If both doors are attacked, you are toast. Then again, if 2 people try to destroy the doors, they are doing something wrong
This strat is mostly good to separate 3-4 people from the main fight because they want to 1v1 or 1vx in light armor. Since you mentioned you want mass pvp, there’s no reason to attack the doors
The strat on my server is usually to rush the enemy fort with half your team, upgrade it, create a respawn and turtle in base. But this is so dumb because you split your team and the other team can simply ignore one fort while they capture the other 2.
you forgot the crying people who get upset about everything as long as it doesn’t bring personal advantage in the form of kills. wow he has a bow and? Yes he may have range but that’s the nature of the weapon. you know, i’m upset about these kids of melees who only play in the clump with several healers on their asses and think they are gods at all times and as soon as they get minimal damage they start crying that they should be banned, the weapons taken out, nerfed and so on. i’m also in favour of banning melee weapons or better ban every player with such a perm. promotes the common good.
I think you have missed the point, opr is the goal to achieve the most points, but you don’t achieve them through kills but through holding points of the forts and in order to hold them as long as possible and also to function as respawn points as well as to give a buff for the holding side, it is important to also expand and hold them. If instead you just want to beat on it mindlessly, then you should look for another game. Then you are simply intellectually out of place here.
