Fix the Company Gold problem pls save this game

Its monday. Last monday was lowest 47k. If you compare Highest to lowest then you ca. Draw a Horror scenario, yes.

But thats kinda pointless.

I still think the same, this game has a rust style design. At the beginning there were a lot of people like when you open any fresh server in rust but with the design of the game there is a group of people who start to amass large amounts of gold easily starting to create a major imbalance. How did they get those territories? Well I would like to say that it was by meritocracy but the reality is that many were by taking advantage of bugs, if the gauntlet of emptiness when you removed the meals, that if the axe when it made for 20 more damage etc… In any way since they were taken they were not removed, all this added to the fact that you have to be farming hundreds of hours to be able to even declare war and hopefully equip yourself, and also after raising influence systematically and boring way to have a minimal opportunity clearly does not help. This game needs to make a FF XIV, and change drastically if you want a long term game.

I’m not your buddy, friend

I’m not blaming anyone.

I do it. It matters to me, so I do it.

People that do not do it, do not care for the impact of where they craft or trade.

It is a rampaging disease of our society, and we should strive for greater awareness.

Yes, I felt like that too.

This was FIXED 2 months ago. It is a SOLVED issue. People actually using? No.

Oh well.

Also, you’re being ripped off  In the company I am in, everyone gets an equal share.

I suggest you go on strike.

2k to 5k coins a week? That’s nothing. And again. Players can spread out. Nothing is forcing them to stay in those cities.

It doesn’t need a fix, that’s the intended game design. Live with it, or work within. You got to adapt to the the reality.

In RF Online, the same happened after they added guild wars and auction house tax influence, we ended walking around geared to the teeth and carrying billions. Same with other games where players are solely the economy influencers, humans are greedy and this is no surprise. Isn’t that what a sand-box MMORPG is?

You haven’t read or understood the history you’ve read to deeply. Religion has killed more people by far than old age.

@FlyNavy1271 allow me to keep my opinion that it has always been the greed and corruption of people

:raised_hands:

Restitution is in order for all tax paid thus far.

Tax revenue creates inequality a drastic wealth gap slowing the economy.

Furthermore devaluates coin which in turn discredits time played.

Here is a Suggestion - Allow companies to enter in an amount to be given to those who fight their wars/invasions - and open a bonus amount to be paid if the event is won.

This is not replacing the current system but adding to it.

… that in itself is a paradox you do know right ?

on one hand you say you do not blame anyone, yet the very next line declare you do and then judge that those who doesn’t do the same don’t care… if you did not blame others you would not go to the extent as to judge their choice.

you don’t appear to be very aware of your own words

eitherway you do not appear to understand what game design means, it is literally no different than an irl towns design. People go to the closest most known store rather than seek some minor upstart store at the edge of town.

time is money and once you have to work for a living you consider what you waste time or money on, you do not drive (waste fuel & time) to another store that has the same if you can get it where you already are. similarly in-game you do not waste time & azoth going where there is no difference than there being a cost.

furthermore you using another town is likely not for this purpose and even if it where, 1 person would only make a couple coins of difference.

no one forces yet common knowledge makes it so… get a job, get a car and you will notice how you wont be traveling to a distant city to buy what u could buy in the city you work or live…

The first actual suggestion in this long thread. nice suggestion even as it lessens the 1-1 trade which companies who do this are forced to do.

But I do not blame anyone. I do not judge their choice. They can’t be bothered. That’s fine.

I do judge someone that does not care to do it, but ā€œcaresā€ to nag about ā€œthe rich citiesā€.

Have you considered the chance that I AM in fact aware of what I type?

What you write as ā€œwaste of timeā€, I perceive as values, priorities, and conscious choices in life.

Time, money, commuting time, fuel costs, choice of store you become a customer of and support, they are ALL choices.

And this is where you are REALLY wrong. It was a conscious decision of the developers to introduce this feature of the game, to make small towns viable. I know that, because I read the patch notes. If you are interested in learning about it, you can try to locate those notes (the dev announcement was around the 6/11/2021).

Again. Choices. Just because the average person makes that choice, it does not make it the right choice. Nor are they conscious that it is in fact a choice. It just makes it the ā€œcommonā€ choice. Not ā€œcommon knowledgeā€ though.

Whenever you choose to ignore the opportunity, you incur the opportunity cost.

If we’ve truly fallen behind a niche game like Rust there’s a problem. Probably more than one.

People can’t t afford to move into houses in other cities. 20k gold isn’t easy for some people so they are stuck. We are renting the house and we should be able to move at will with no upfront cost.

You’re numbers are correct. There is an issue to be addressed.

From my view if religion was created by people, then people are responsible for it’s atrocities.

I agree that the cost of moving can be steep.

My best advice is buying a small house first (5k commitment) to make sure the town is as advertised.

I am going to guess you are either on low pop, are lying, or is blind to what’s happening at the top of your company. If none of these then what is all of that million’s of gold being spent on weekly?

If i could instantly teleport to any area i wanted i would probably not buy a house in the most expensive highest taxed area… but what do i know right?

I am in a mid population (1000@peak). I generally do not lie, but you have no reason to believe that  The net income is distributed to members, equally. Also, it is really easy to track, so there is no ā€œlost goldā€.
