Fix the Company Gold problem pls save this game

yeah i heard trump bought amazon and is recruiting on these forums

eye roll.

Well, you say that in jest.

But look at the amount of ramblings we have about US propaganda going through this game.

We’ve had someone come and talk about how the Syndi were “liberal leftists” and the Marauders were the “Republicans” no joke (i don’t remember if that was the actual faction breakdown) with A LOT of reasoning via in-game lore.

We’ve had someone come in and talk about how they lost a war on xmas because “the muslims attacked us”

We’ve had our lovely friend Laura1 here talk about how advocating for a fair distribution of wealth is “socialism” which is anti-US and whatever other non-sense they spewed before deleting the posts.

We’ve had people post rants about the inefficacy of vaccinations in these times.

We’ve had people call others “poor” and “living on welfare” and other insults attempting to demean someone based on wealth / class.

The list goes on.

EDIT: Okay, see what I mean, this is a different post entirely:

Posts I deleted had to do with personal stuff that had no bearing on the OP.

As far as the game is concerned the taxes are the reward for taking and holding a territory. You can argue the taxes are too high and the bracket needs to be tightened (as it will be if you would’ve read the patch notes). But you should NOT be arguing that AGS remove the only real benefit of PvP because you perceive it puts you at a disadvantage.

Territories and taxes are one of the things that make the game unique. You can go play any other cookie cutter MMO if you don’t like that.

Edit: the irony here is every player can choose where to do their business. You think WW EF and BW make all the money? Don’t trade refine or have a house there. The tools are in your hands already.

He’s not necessarily lying he was probably looking at the numbers of currently online players instead of the “24-hour peak” to “illustrate the urgent need”. If you visit steam charts it is in fact usually around 40-80k most of the time so 60k does sound about right, but of course people should look at the 24-hour peak because that is more relevant and accurate.

You should check during EU-Primetime. Then its allways 100k

… buddy this is a matter of design…
you blaming the customer for walking to the nearest shopping center within walking distance from work/home rather than drive to an identical in another town…

i would like to see a valid method to convince everyone to do this since if only 1-10% does it then it wont even make a visible difference.

just a /facepalm suggestion you gave there.

I enjoyed reading through this really but man in case you’re not trolling, go outside touch a tree and find some friends. Proclaiming yourself to be smart and so mature while you debate politics in a video game forum for hours is never gonna convince anyone in this world, so go outside a little bit maybe find a job or something idk anything that involves real life interaction will be good for you.

yep check the steam charts it’s been going down just hover your mouse over the green line and you would know it’s no longer 100k in the past week and is likely to keep going down until something actually NEW content is released not just some numbers being tweaked in a dungeon.

97k is unironically the highest it’s been on in the last 7 days.

Edit: Not to mention, the countless encounters a lot of players have including me with bots both in the Open-World and Global chat in almost every territory and every server. There is even a chinese company for bots in my server, so the game population (active human players) is really nowhere close to 100k anymore.

/facepalm…

buddy i am in a comp who has 4 clone comps who each have 3-5M+ coins and distribute 2.000-5.000 to all online members weekly manually and leaders & officers all having 200-400k+…

windsward & everfall earn an amount that is hard to even spend, this is a company that spends on its members but there are also those who dont do this and are made to last few months and afterwards u have 1-5 players who have more coin that they ever could spend even in the next expansion…

the market is literally controlled at this point and those who are wealthy from company can purchase an entire product up for a week while artificially lowering its price to make others sell their products for that price and later simply sell all the materials at 20-50 coins higher… its a tactic well known to mmo’s and why all modern mmo’s sync markets across many servers to make the control of a market much harder.

Its monday. Last monday was lowest 47k. If you compare Highest to lowest then you ca. Draw a Horror scenario, yes.

But thats kinda pointless.

I still think the same, this game has a rust style design. At the beginning there were a lot of people like when you open any fresh server in rust but with the design of the game there is a group of people who start to amass large amounts of gold easily starting to create a major imbalance. How did they get those territories? Well I would like to say that it was by meritocracy but the reality is that many were by taking advantage of bugs, if the gauntlet of emptiness when you removed the meals, that if the axe when it made for 20 more damage etc… In any way since they were taken they were not removed, all this added to the fact that you have to be farming hundreds of hours to be able to even declare war and hopefully equip yourself, and also after raising influence systematically and boring way to have a minimal opportunity clearly does not help. This game needs to make a FF XIV, and change drastically if you want a long term game.

I’m not your buddy, friend

I’m not blaming anyone.

I do it. It matters to me, so I do it.

People that do not do it, do not care for the impact of where they craft or trade.

It is a rampaging disease of our society, and we should strive for greater awareness.

Yes, I felt like that too.

This was FIXED 2 months ago. It is a SOLVED issue. People actually using? No.

Oh well.

Also, you’re being ripped off  In the company I am in, everyone gets an equal share.

I suggest you go on strike.

2k to 5k coins a week? That’s nothing. And again. Players can spread out. Nothing is forcing them to stay in those cities.

It doesn’t need a fix, that’s the intended game design. Live with it, or work within. You got to adapt to the the reality.

In RF Online, the same happened after they added guild wars and auction house tax influence, we ended walking around geared to the teeth and carrying billions. Same with other games where players are solely the economy influencers, humans are greedy and this is no surprise. Isn’t that what a sand-box MMORPG is?

You haven’t read or understood the history you’ve read to deeply. Religion has killed more people by far than old age.

@FlyNavy1271 allow me to keep my opinion that it has always been the greed and corruption of people

:raised_hands:

Restitution is in order for all tax paid thus far.

Tax revenue creates inequality a drastic wealth gap slowing the economy.

Furthermore devaluates coin which in turn discredits time played.

Here is a Suggestion - Allow companies to enter in an amount to be given to those who fight their wars/invasions - and open a bonus amount to be paid if the event is won.

This is not replacing the current system but adding to it.

… that in itself is a paradox you do know right ?

on one hand you say you do not blame anyone, yet the very next line declare you do and then judge that those who doesn’t do the same don’t care… if you did not blame others you would not go to the extent as to judge their choice.

you don’t appear to be very aware of your own words

eitherway you do not appear to understand what game design means, it is literally no different than an irl towns design. People go to the closest most known store rather than seek some minor upstart store at the edge of town.

time is money and once you have to work for a living you consider what you waste time or money on, you do not drive (waste fuel & time) to another store that has the same if you can get it where you already are. similarly in-game you do not waste time & azoth going where there is no difference than there being a cost.

furthermore you using another town is likely not for this purpose and even if it where, 1 person would only make a couple coins of difference.

no one forces yet common knowledge makes it so… get a job, get a car and you will notice how you wont be traveling to a distant city to buy what u could buy in the city you work or live…

The first actual suggestion in this long thread. nice suggestion even as it lessens the 1-1 trade which companies who do this are forced to do.
