Fix the damn housing and decorations that make your character only able to move in one direction and you have to kill the entire game to fix it not just relog!

There is a button on your keyboard that toggles “free look” - and in the process, disables your ability to turn. Pressing it again restores normal mouse/look behavior.
That key is LEFT-ALT.
This makes absolutely no sense lol… You literally can’t move accept in a forward direction. Every time you decorate. You have to close the game entirely and restart it to fix it.
I admit, I have not bought any houses in-game.
But I have had exactly the same thing - “literally cannot move except in one direction” - while just out standing in the settlement street. It was fixed by tapping my left ALT key.
Next time, try that.
