That’s a good idea @deviousangel. Yes to a small amount of Azoth as well.
so we get 8 instead of 0.8 gold, LMFAO. This is unreal. The incompetence and stupidity.
The economy is supposed to work by higher level players selling goods and services at outrageous prices taking advantage of the gold surplus from the lower level players… I’ve seen this somewhere… Can’t put my finger on it…
Can you explain what’s stupid about it? Thank you.
ur getting 0.8 coin per faction mission? plz post a screenshot to prove it cause i call bullsh*t on that.
seems to be on these forums, if you disagree with amazons terms and conditions, your point is the only valid one
People don’t understand what this game is about and how it works. They come in playing other MMO’s and the thing is this is not the same, its not! They complain daily about it, well go play another game then. AMAZON LISTEN GOOD… DO NOT CHANGE THIS GAME because people complain that This game sucks because its doesn’t do this or that. This is not a cookie cutter game, and its great finally a new MMO that is good and we like. Are there bugs and issues, sure but what game doesn’t have them. Keep up the great work! but for the love of god let us swim if we have light armor!
Good man, support the devs who make a beautiful environment. Ban the whiners. Make amazon great again!!
If the game is relying on the players going against human nature, the game will lose.
Come to El Dorado. Global chat is gold selling spam 24/7 and has been since day one. Bots all over.
Another factor messing up the graph is the gold generation from gold sellers by leveling 1-9, deleting a character and restarting. ~600 gold in those starter quests. That gold will never circulate in a normal play fashion.
I’d really like to see less gear drop from the enemies, as I’m showered with gear and thus have no reason to buy it off the market. Right now there is a weird balance there.
I’d also like to see dungeon keys to be tradable on the markets and open up more demand for crafters to really help spur on the player driven economy.
I do not want a vendor, as you get coin for breaking down gear. But I do think AGS would do well to help open up the markets a bit in order to create opportunities for players to make money
At any faction vendor, in the upper left corner there is a count of 3/3 daily bonus that will be applied to any faction mission. The bonus depends on the zone. I got 98 gold in Windsward and 120 gold in Mourningdale per quest.
The gold bonus is not shown in the quest reward, but rather just applied after you complete the quest.
Exactly. It is the velocity of the money that is the problem. Money is not circulating because the markets are not working.
Why aren’t the markets working? Because they are regional. not server or game wide.
History show that restraints of trade inhibit economic growth. New World has a huge problem because there is no global trade. The market SHOULD be global otherwise the game does not have the potential for a good economy.
Markets are regional for a reason, to add weight to our decision on where to live. You can check all the markets from one location, and, if you find a deal in another settlement, you make the choice on whether or not it’s worth it to run (or fast travel) there to get it.
Yes, perhaps it inhibits growth. But it also helps mitigate single actors with enormous wealth to corner every market. I could also argue that I make more money because the markets are regional. Raw materials are generally more expensive in BW (where I live) than they are in EF or WW. I capitalize on this fact. I know most folks won’t want to make the trip all the way down to EF for cheaper rawhide. Yet BW remains populated since all four starting zones filter to it (yes, CK too, but that’s far less popular).
Anyone else noticed that Amazon has a thing for pyramids? The economy is a ponzi scheme where gold is introduced in the game via new players doing quest and pretty much nothing else. Old players live from new players money until server caps and everyone is done questing. Wars and Invasions are done by the same 100-200 players on each server … so not much gold for the plebs there. And then there is the crafting pyramid where you need Iron/fiber in tremendous quantities for the whole chain … and there is not that much more iron at least not in a proportion that mirrors the requirement for refining
i Did Talk About This Before, I Hope It Gets Rsolved, Esencially How It Works, The Money In Game Whill From 3 Digits To Single Digits and posibly less, i mean in repair in a single expedition your already wasting 50 gold aprox.
Coruption clear just give a miserable litelry miserable .55 gold like my god man you was more repairing then what you gain from those thing nobody whant to deal with them, at this point nobody in server can handle invasions as it curently is and those thing just masivly pops up fast, esencialy the crafting upgrade just keep downgrading more constantly becuse of these thing, and tbh their no incentive and less the a incentive to do coruption becuse you get nothing from it literly nothing.
atlest make it 50 gold so it can be as good as doing a quest instead of a automatic not worth the effort from litelry evry player in the server, the worst part is that eventually evrything would downgrade nobody has enough money, house taxes are extremly expensive nobody can keep up with that, esencially nobody would be able to craft, and at that literly all the systems and crafting mechanics would just not exist at all.
tbh its rediculous that a game with player have literly none of sustainability at all in the long run, i really wonder if wer ejust playing some sort of demo at this point and then a giant game under the hood would fuse all the servers in one gigantic big world were thing and bug are fix, becuse what we curently have this is not viable, there is no long term in the curent system.
Some countries print money to fight deflation to make and sell more things. Sure you need to make it in a controlled manner to not generate too much inflation. And is what is wrong with the graph @Zin_Ramu posted. It shows the money in circulation, but do not show the “country” or population getting poorer.
In general, people have less money to buy and create things when it should be the other way around, more money in players hands allow them to buy more, and then more people will be crafting and farming to sell things on Trading Post.
people need to cry less and let the game take shape. this is why, in mmos, you dont race to end game in a week, and i suggest players let that marinate.
That’s why people need to give feedback here, right? What will drive the game to a good state?
time. this isnt a new problem. this is a every mmo problem on release.
