Switching from one faction (lets say Marauders) over to (lets say Syndicate) and then later deciding to go back to Marauders, the faction quests are no longer there for players to move forward, so it does not give you the ability to rank back up to level 5.
You are stuck on level 1.
Why?
Because the game does not automatically reset the quests (and since you already completed it the first time around, you cannot re-do it)
This is a terrible mechanic of the game that needs to be addressed.
Especially with world transfers, you may not want to stay in the faction that you are in and may want to switch back to your original faction.
This really hinders the ability to buy things from the faction shop (especially with the ability to buy the orbs now and also to buy the chisels to make the orbs) and so much more.
This needs to be addressed and has been an ongoing issue the entire life of the game.
