"Fixed an issue where settlement storage can become massively overflowed by expired contracts."

What does this mean from the patch notes? What happens to the items from my expired contracts if they exceed the town storage?

Hopefully it only means that if you have a storage that is already over capacity, you can’t list anymore items for sale in that town.

People were using this to overfill a single town storage with endless resources by just signing up items at with a mark up for trade for 1 day then letting them expire into storage. So this is to fix that exploit.

If you are capped on your storage the game will send it to the closest settlement storage.

They also fixed a bug where this would happen even when you had storage room so check storage for all your settlements.
