I play on Apsu server and for the second week I’ve been flagged for “abusive behavior” due enemy faction mass report, follow below:
A week ago there was a bug where the Hatchet weapon was doing way more damage than intended, which persisted for several days. On Nov/02 we (Ragnarok - Marauders) fought the guild Rhome (Syndicate) and they abused the hatchet exploit as at least 10 players were using it 100% of the time, this can be seen at the video below, where I also tell in which timestamps they appear. You can also see how fast the walls gets destroyed:
After the war, all of our guild reported them and we were calling them exploiters, as I was leading the call, they called for a mass report and I was flagged as abusive even that they were the exploiters, but well, we were hoping the ticket system would do something. After a few hours all tickets were replied with a Copy+Paste and nothing was done. Rhome was still there and even the players were active as nothing was happening.
Today there was another war against the Covenant, and as the war finished, we all remembered the whole server the kind of exploiters they are, and once again I called it and after a while received the “abusive behavior” warning for another mass report on their guild chat.
So my point is, I really don’t want to believe that I’d be banned sometime due mass report by EXPLOITERS that were able to INTENTIONALLY abuse it, get advantages and got away with it.
Hello Viley, I want to assure you that there is no automated system for player reports that issues bans or penalties, all reports are reviewed manually by the team in charge.
You sure about that? We have a leader of an upcoming war who has been busy with RL and family, and has only been sporadically on for 3 days over the past week.
He along with his secondary war leader have been banned, conveniently, right before their upcoming war on their territory in the next 12 hours.
And we’ve had several other occasions with similar bans. Same people dispute the claim and get unbanned shortly after. So, clearly, there’s a system that isn’t working since people are being unbanned.
Either; ya’ll are unbanning cheaters/exploiters that shouldn’t be unbanned. OR, you’re wrongfully banning players and doing investigative work AFTER someone disputes.
Our company has had the governor permabanned for cheating and all of our consuls. we are not running around in voidgear, I don’t think anyone in our company has it. we have just won some wars on a dying server that pissed people off. I am sure that there is something wrong with the bans. I’ve played with these guys a lot and they have been streaming on discord and kicked people who where abusing glitches like hatchet when that was around.
If this is true, the “team in charge” are ignoring dozens of daily reports on bots/cheaters/exploiters, meanwhile they are happy to act on mass malicious reports against people who have done nothing against the CoC/ToS.
Herp derp, sure we believe in this s*. Keep writing this a hundred times over and maybe in the next century we’ll agree on it. Everyone who exploit the game is free to do whatever they want while we who try to do everything right are penalized by those before. Thanks for the environment you are creating. And yesterday I received a ban for abusive behavior. I’m trying to receive an answer regarding the exploiters but all I get from the ticket system are automatic replies. I don’t get it, if I send you proof of an exploit and from a guild that abused it, why are they still running around as nothing happened? @Luxendra
Yeah, just to remember that this is still a thing on my server.
It came to a point where NO ONE is talking ANYTHING in the chat (besides coinselling-bots, dungeon keys and market overall), because almost everyone is reporting everyone else for everything.
What is happening with this game? My friend who is the most chill person I know got perma banned for “abusive behavior” within the second day of our server transfer to Midgard.
We havnt done anything other then try to make new connections and friends, Amazon answered his appeal quickly with a copy/pasted reply that doesnt really explain what he got banned for, just what can make him banned and how he should behave in the game…
The worst thing is I remember cheaters/exploiters and people who actually was doing “abusive behavior” usually only got temporary banned for like 24 hours. So how come my friend got banned permanantly for doing nothing? and if he did something where is the proof? I don’t understand how customers can be treated so badly.
I work in retail, selling clothes. If I started throwing customers out of the store without reason, and when they asked why they get kicked out I just start to say everything that’s not allowed to do in the store, like stealing, harassing and bringing food in.
First of all these customers will talk to other people and tell them to not go to the shop and tell them how bad they treat their customers. Second, I would get problems with the shopping mall where we have our store in and I could also get problems with the law.
So I really don’t understand why people are getting banned like this.
Can we get an actual developer to answer on these matters? We are trying to get in touch with someone that actually will look at the matter, but the only thing we are getting in respons is that we are either talking to the wrong people and the right people refuse to answer in any other way than in a copy/paste/bot like way. We need to speak to a human person working with this that actually wants to look at what happened and can see if there is some error or weird mass report situation or anything like that.
We spend money on the game, at least you can spend some money on having a real customer support that treat us like real customers.
