Yeah. Sure. You say it’s a lie, so magically, it all becomes a lie. No need to actually REFUTE my points.
Just say ‘You’re wrong, lol’. Bet that worked wonders in debate club.
Truths:
PvP players are the minority.
Perma PvP is never popular with the majority.
Hell, not even every PvP player wants perma PvP.
Again; the devs won’t lock away content because you want to force people to flag up.
Say It’S a LiE!’ all you want; nothing I said is false. Or else you would have, you know; debated it with actual counter-arguments?
That might actually be the worst pvp suggestion I’ve heard, and suggesting any mmo have pvp always on is already #1 on the “will never actually happen” list.
Nothing I said is fictional. Look at every post on this forum about perma-flagging PvP ideas.
It’s clear that PvP players are in the minority.
I think you misunderstand; I’m not saying the majority of PvP players zerg or PK. I said PvP itself is the minority.
(Sorry, I did say PvP players, now that I look up I meant playing PvP)
And you are correct; having level brackets would fix allot of problems, but not all of them.
Some people just don’t want to PvP, and should not be forced to PvP, and should not have the only repeatable quests/content in the game gated behind PvP.
It’s not a matter of ‘levels’, it’s a matter of ‘some people don’t want to fucking PvP AT ALL’
And they should not be punished with withheld PvE content (again; the only repeatable quests are faction quests) just because they don’t want to play your way.
Demanding PvE players lose content because you want to PvP is selfish to the extreme.
The PvP quests you are talking about should be removed and rebranded as PvE quests (apart from the faction system).
Honestly they are so dull they should just be removed from the game completely and replaced w/ something else imo.
This game should of been delayed another year. I was so surprised when Amazon decided to actually release. I thought they were going to push back again for sure.
I won’t disagree that the game should have been polished more. Maybe they were looking at a set date they could not push back due to executive meddling.
I’m actually female lul . They should make pvp servers then so you care bears can go hold eachothers hands . I like to pvp so I have pvp on regardless if I die or not .
SWTOR never had perma pvp, unless I’m misreading something somewhere. I played there from beta until last summer. What they did have, were PvP servers.
This would kill the game. Both servers I have characters on are dominated by one faction. The dominate faction commonly flag while farming portals/elite zones and do so without fear of the other factions. In another thread someone posted a SS of their map, every zone purple…
This would 100% be abused. Griefers would not attack and just run in to other players aoe/cleave to mark them as the attacker and then kill them.
Apparently you do not. Your reply was to someone mentioning that they disagreed with being perma flagged up, which was in context with the person that started this thread. Now, if you had replied with a PvP server response, which did you did not, then the context of my reply would have been different, and probably wouldn’t have elicited a response at all. Your response directly implied that SWTOR and even WoW had perma PvP, which is incorrect. BDO? No idea on that game, never played it.
perma pvp is dumb, as i play the game. most of the players doesn’t want to flagged and it shows the population of people who wants to play pvp. They better increase the benefits of flagging up or make a large pvp frequent.
one common issue with PvP thread is that they don’t realise one thing
PvP players need PvE players to flag
PvE players don’t need PvP player at all.
so it is down to what kind of incentive you can give PvE players to stay flag. I will compromise for few things. maybe 100% increase Exp gain under PvP flag, and also maybe 100% resources gathering from nodes with PvP flag. if not. what kind of incentive there for me?
