I logged back in and recreated the “unintended feature” with the GPS on.

theirs also another spot like this in ebonscale reach. next time im there i will take screenshots of the map an myself drowning

I’ve had this happen in other ways, where you’ll walk across a big tree or stump right before it respawns, and I’ve gotten stuck halfway in them before. Causes my character to get the ability to fish on dry land, as well as if I move out of the stump, I fall and instantly die under the map. Usually gotta go to the menu and unstuck myself otherwise I can’t jump out of the tree stump or im gonna fall out-of-bounds.

yep get this all over the map i swear nothing was fixed since beta! even drowned on land lol
Okay honestly. Take the game down. Wipe the server. Keep the test server up. Apply fixes to main servers. Reimburse players gold plus a ?% for inconvienence. Hope players return. I cant defend you anymore AGS, i just cant. I have fought for you tooth and nail and i just cant doit anymore. I think we should see other people, its over. Maybe if you fix your daddy issues we can try this again.

Can drown, can fish - middle of a pretty little (otherwise dry) field 
A little bit of extra data just to spice things up. I logged onto my namesake character (Susan lvanova) on Rosetau and attempted to recreate the issue I had with MichaelGaribaldi on Barataria. The fish/drown point does not seem to exist on Rosetau but still exists and can be recreated at will on Barataria.
Uhm, I reported this 12 days ago in the bugs and exploits section… no reply to acknowledge that the issue lol so what was different this time? Did I post it on the wrong area?
Exactly lol I reported this 12 days ago with a zoomed in map screenshot and specific named location but no devs acknowledge the issue lmao but somehow it got through 15hrs ago…
I tried those same 2 herbs yesterday and almost drowned

THAT is very interesting. I would have thought all servers were exactly the same map with the same problems if any. I have gotten stuck in the map 
a few times myself. 
BUT this seems to be server specific. But why? Could territory changing hands somehow be apart of this?

In alpha there were some areas like this, and more appeared after various patches. Some were fixed (like up on the way to Siren Queen in Reek), it’s just weird that they keep appearing after certain patches. Would be great to figure out how and why

There are so many of these spots around the map where you start drowning on top of a hill or can fish an iron node. We don’t report them because we want you to actually fix the game forst then we can worry about stupid stuff like this. TBH its this that makes the game just light hearted enough to be bearable through all the bugs
