I can tell you exactly what is in the datamine.
All Non-Combat Trophy Mats are in a single loot bucket called: ContainerTrophyArtifacts
This Loot bucket Is only reachable one way, by opening a Supply Stockpile or an Ancient Chest.
Both of those reference a Loot Table called ContainerLootLarge.
That loot table is an AND table, says it is LuckSafe, has the GlobalMod conditions on it, and contains five entries:

So, with no luck at all, you have a 0.25 * 0.005 = 0.00125 or 0.125% or 1 in 800 chance to see a trophy mat. If you are trying to get something specific, then there is a further 1/23 for getting, say, a loaded dice if you are in a lvl56 zone or higher.
If you do have luck, say 50%, then it clearly increases your chances of getting trophy artifacts (4 in 114 is really, really strong)
What we dont really, know, and the devs have not yet explained to us, is how that 50% luck (or 5000 GlobalRollMod) impacts your chances on an OR table.
If they treat it like an AND table, and add your luck to the roll, then your luck is only increasing the chances of getting artifacts, and decreasing the chance you get an extra “ContainerLootGearLeveled”, and they did mention that this is something they do not do in that first blog post. Again, however, who knows what is accurate.
So, its difficult to know how to calculate the odds when we dont know whether or not luck is going to help you get more Rare furniture from supply stockpiles, or whether it only helps with the Artifacts.
One thing for sure, is it definitely does help.
Now if only we could know whether or not it is actually applying in the cases when its supposed to.
