His logic was, so many people using those weapons because they are op, the musket and bow users are about >5% of the playerbase which means they are weak. So whats your point here?

He can’t see to differentiate between a weapon and a skill on 2 weapons i.e grav well and ice shower
By all means keep using the weapons, just don’t use those skills if they’re actually not OP.

I play rapier fire staff but in opr im forced to swap my rapier for my IG because of how hard it is to hit with rapier, it has such a short reach…
And yes ice shower is crazy op in pvp so whay would i guimp myself?! I joined the IG trainfor pvp only.
I even have 2 gear peaces with IG perks to replace for my rapier perk gear.

Ice wall should not be as affective as it is when players run no intelligence with it. And ice walling the entry way in opr is not cool
You could also not get hit by it 
until hatchet hit detection is fixed, and sword gets their stats so i can be 200/300 using other weapons im kind of pigeonholed into GA/WH for the time being… rip
that being said i hate the GA. literally only used for grav well because the hit detection for melee is trash, most people can just walk away from you while being hit.

Me with my VG/FS build I just melt GA player in 1v1. But I play in medium 300/200 so I don’t die in 5 secs in close combat 
I kinda like the idea of a silence instead of dodgeblock. Would still leave some effectiveness to the Shower, as the root works, but not being able to use an ability for 1-2 seconds would balance out the ability to Charge, Fleche or Burnout away from danger. Make people think twice about diving into a pile to throw down a shower when they don’t have a guaranteed way out. Light armor would be strong to get away, but if you get caught you’re toast. The way it should be. Balanced.
GA/IG is such a crutch cheese combo. I agree with others, if you spec zero Int, it should not be as effective. Half of OPR right now is anything/IG. I’ve even seen a few Bow/IG…totally silly.
