I’m glad cheaters are getting banned, and I have zero sympathy for them.
However.
Finding cheaters misses some and sometimes falsely finds others. Anyone who’s been banned and thinks it’s in error should appeal it.
In the mean time, while this is a hot and heavy topic, and while they’re tuning their systems, I would play very carefully. Don’t do stuff that even might look suspicious. Give them time to clean up the process and get the worst of the cheaters out.
i was farming weaponskill before i got banned and about 20minutes before i got banned i had a power outage, i logged back in everything was fine, i was still farming with my faction mates for a bit then i got this message Lag detected froze for a bit then had this message Login blocked
Put in an appeal to your ban if you think it was in error. That’s just going to happen sometimes.
Yeah, maybe if they detected any lag while playing you might just get banned. The mods did state that if you try to replicate any duplication glitch you will get banned. So I am assuming just by having shotty internet or closing out of the game from natural occurrences will trigger it.
That’s fucked man. AGS should really do something about this asap before they lose more players they already lost 70% of their player base, and the gold advertisers are still out there in that 30%. kudos to them, at this point if im really banned because i traded a voidbent or because of my power outage i cbf playing this game anymore because at some point you will get disconnected somehow due to pc , internet or even power outage, i cbf appealing everytime this happens.

I’m not ban but i have a message that say “Connexion refused, suspect softaware or corrupted files detected” I’m on a brand new PC with only games & Adobe/Streamlabs, i have talk a lot with the Amazon support and try LOT of things, i send my Logs/Dxdiag to support but the problem still here even after the update, i have spend money In-Game and i’m a content creator who can’t work anymore… This need to be fix !
From everything we have seen so far that message will change to say you were banned soon.
But why ?? i’m not using any exploit and software, i’m not talking bad on chat, like i just playing the game, it would be a shame to ban someone like me who do nothings against the game rules or other player, i hope this gonna be fix

The fact that you believe AGS Ban system is 100% accurate after all of their plethora of bugs is mind boggling to me.
A lot of innocent players are getting banned that are completely innocent because of their bad auto ban system specifically targeting people with bad ISP speed or connections.
AGS Support is way worse than that itself and the appeal system is a joke, all automated systems that make you go through the process like 5 times just to tell you they cant do anything.
It is good that actual botters get banned but not if innocents get ruined in the process.
I can confirm that they told me that I was banned because a attempted gold duplication.
So basically logging in and out basically triggers the gold duplication anti cheat and you will be flagged and banned.

No, I just got a 24 hour ban.
But I mean I did nothing wrong, I shouldn’t have been banned in the first place. I don’t want a “ban history” on my account and I do another thing wrong I’m permanently banned.
Its super not fair and until the people who are accusing us of being REAL cheaters have this happen to their accounts they will never know how it really sucks to get slapped with this when you literally did nothing wrong.
Well, that sucks. My status have just changed from login blocked to Banned, i had a chat with CS earlier and they assured me my account was fine and im not banned. LMAO it doesnt even states how long i’ve been banned so i assume its a perma? Hopefully my appeal goes through a good cs this time
WTF? yeah maybe wait until 24 hours of your actual time frame, but yeah it usually states the time you will be unbanned. I don’t think you’ll get a perma
Sent an appeal, i’ll keep you posted will take sometime i’d imagine but in the login screen doesnt tell me how long the ban is.

This wave of fake “Pity me, I got banned for no reason!” threads ALWAYS appear immediately after cheaters are mass-banned from a game…if you look at the first post I made today, I said they’d be coming
