For the love of God please do something

I don’t want to be salty or impossible… but I was in the queue from 14:10 … finally at 17:46 I got to position 67 in the queue… when I got a failed to connect error and kicked me out… how is this fair? Now it won’t even queue me back up I clicked play and it just sit there and shows me that it’s loading… I’m a bit frustrated, got all my friends to move from WoW to NW to play with me… they are in the game playing while I sit on discord and just smash things… instead of adding new servers increase the capacity. I want to play with my friends… I logged on this morning at 7AM to create a char and pick a server with my friends…

Yes, most games will remember where you are in the queue but not this one.

We are terribly sorry about this inconvenient with the queues, the Developer team is aware of this issues internal server errors, timeout errors, and more. we are working to solve the problem as soon as possible.

Doesn’t really feel like you are, after 7 hours you are finally saying anything about this. When can we expect for those who have been waiting all day to be able to play?

No offence Muzz but Amazon has access to one of the biggest if not the biggest server infrastructures in the world. I’m sure that Steam shared the sale numbers for pre-orders. The current server capacity is way too low for an MMO that created so much hype around it. It literally overtook CSGO at concurrent players. I’m not angry at Amazon games, just frustrated… waited so long for the game and now people with jobs are being punished by a slow queue. All my jobless friends are playing since this morning the 2 of us who had to work or can’t get in and pretty sure I won’t get in today… I got moved back to 1580 which translates to at least 5 hours…

I’m also baffled by this server queue capacity issue. All EU servers in my list are showing queues of over 1000. Should this kind of thing be a ‘thing’ in a world of Cloud Scalability technology? It seems Amazon is not ‘dogfooding’ its own AWS compute, storage and network services scaling technology to meet demand within minutes of an issue rearing its head.

I gave up on the EU servers and, despite the higher pings of 110ms+ for US servers, I created a character there because that’s the only region I see with very low queues :confused:

Sigh.

Played on a US server for about 20 minutes before I had to log off and do a quick job. Now coming back and trying to log back in and I can’t because my server is greyed out showing a message “At world character limit”.

Sorry Amazon Games but this is too frustrating and I think I’ll just get a Steam refund :confused:

It’s a bit frustrating to see that they have the resources… they created nearly the perfect game, created a lot of hype around it… I even left work early sneaked home so I can just sit in the queue and get a few hours of gameplay… but it doesn’t look like it… I’m position 1480 moved 100 spots in since my last reply. Pretty sure that by the time I get close to 100 I’ll get kicked out again. I have 6 hours of played time… but all spent in queues…
