Man is doing M2-M5 and you’re expecting him to have top tier PvE gear? Get over yourself, pleaseeeeeee. You don’t need any sort of Bane optimization to get silver or gold in Genesis or Lazarus up through M7.
Bring the coatings, minimize mistakes, and bam you’re going to be in M8-M10 in no time. Man needs to first craft a 623-625 set, then he can worry about the bs song and dance revolving around PvE speed demon crap you guys are so wrapped up on.
you dont need leggendary weapon 3 perk bis PvE for running mutation dungeon, but Bane is must if you want to be a real DPS in mutation, most m10 runners before acquiring their bis PvE weapon were running with purple 2 perks

You can’t possibly expect a single target pewpew gun to be efficient at killing hundreds of mobs now can you? Learn to and embrace trying new things. Your friends aren’t A—holes just because they don’t want to carry you and your mediocre dps through an m10. The last thing anyone wants is to spend an hour in something that should take 20-30 minutes.
Could care less tbh, I haven’t run an M10 since February. It is kind of crazy that people get shoehorned into builds that they don’t like and suddenly everyone wonders why no one is playing the game. There were individuals at Tempest Heart’s release who became EXTREMELY butthurt that you would not cheese Neishatun for the sake of making the run “easy” and fast instead of playing the game. I am not about that.
Rule #1, is jus game, play to have fun. Anything after that ain’t worth the stress especially to peeps who have hard-ons for running the same dungeon in X minutes and are able to not get stat-checked to death by the bullshit Mutated Gear Score system. Its not intuitive nor interesting and is only a means through which to get better/more drops.
I feel like some people forget games are supposed to be fun first. The turbo nerds who refuse to run with someone just cause their build is suboptimal bother me.

this game brings you to use more than 1 build to do all the different content there is, only people that cant adapt will have problemem like the poster is having with his friends.
Cheese as in the stand on the ledge below his platform and auto attack him for 3 minutes instead of doing the mechanics. Guy in my group was furious that two out of the five us wouldn’t do it. It is unfun stuff like that makes the game trash and I don’t think it is necessary to stress over imo for PvE content at this stage. When a Raid or awesome Open World bosses get added, 100% min-max would be necessary, until then for someone starting mutations, not so much.
I usually run Gen with randos and I won’t stress if we wipe, if we have a tank, if we decide to all in on the first cage or run a 1v4. I heal or I can dps, but the objective is to keep people afloat and get them Expertise bumps going. Everything else is for the birds so long as you’re doing the mechanics and not dying. I stopped doing Tempest because there were a lot of hooligans who couldn’t keep it together.
A musket user is going to prevent you from doing that at some point. Either that or the other two DPS are GODS carrying this mere toddler along in the expedition.
As others have said the musket is crap damage in PVE due to the piles of mobs and AE potential coupled with literally no group utility.
For the folks bringing PVP into this. You need WARD gear for PVE. If he’s whining about a musket in PVE, he likely isn’t bothering to equip himself with a PVE specific dungeon set either and is also likely causing the healer to work over time or dead most of the time too at higher mutators.
Rule #1 is you can do anything you want when it doesn’t affect anyone else.
As soon as you step into an expedition and your spending 4 other people’s time. If you can’t accept that and it is still all about your own fun and not respecting other’s time and fun then that is just selfishness.
Exactly. If you are running non-efficient weapons, you arent coming with me, friend or company included. I will accept a neutral weapon with perfect perks tho but thats it. If you using a weak weapo , you are wasting everybodys time.
Him not running meta build xyz to clear silver ranking for M2-5 ain’t a big deal. Can do suboptimal builds and make it work as my group had in the past. Guys need to see the bigger picture that we aren’t talking about Mutation Level 10 Dungeons. Guy is grinding up, prob doesn’t even have a set to work with that is above 615 GS, let alone a 623 weapon. Relax, read the room, and do not be such a worry wort.
He isn’t running tether, oblivion, and essence rupture as a VG main and wondering what is going on. So long as the content is getting cleared, that is just about all that matters. He can worry about all that other funny business at M10 imo.
