Forcing people to PvP does NOT work!

It seems AGS is trying to invent the tire anew. Well…it will never work this way.

Dear AGS, just look at the big 3 letter MMO and what they did in Silithus and the Eastern Plaguelands etc…Did it work to make people do more open PvP ?

NO.

Open PvP there almost only took place before BGs, when it was the only means to get honor points.

The luck bonus is nice, but you also get it when ignoring other flaged people and just do your farm thing. Theres not really a reason to PvP.
It is one of your games major problems. Theres not much reason to do anything.
Faction equip is easily achieved and as in OPR only perks count, you dont need anything else. 580 weapons you get from a quest and those or better can also be bought in the auction house. So why waste 100k to push a craft to 200? If you really want crafted stuff, you use the money you saved and let someone else craft it.

So…what do people need luck for, when they already achieved the best equip they can get and items are almost worthless? (And btw. with your new luck bonus those items that still gave some money will become totally worthless as well).

im unsure what you are trying to say - force people in another way to pvp or just dont force people?

Well for one theres equipment that you cannot get others to craft as its bind on pickup. So you want 200 for that

It really does work, Myrkgard has been an all-out brawl on my server over the past few days. PvP zerg trains from all factions inevitably clash, snipers rear their ugly heads atop the rooftops & mountainsides & people get executed after being knocked down by the Thorpe NPC.

It has been alot of fun fighting over the elite zones the past couple of days.

Yet there is a PvP scaling which pretty much nullifies all the difference between armor pieces and people are not even aware of this.

I think it is absolutely hilarious, that AGS enforced flagged luck, and most people flag and run right by each other not even attempting to pvp, they too just want the luck bonus without the hassle…lol now prices are plummeting and open world pvp is still a myth.

My experience has been completely different, particularly on popular farming routes i.e. Ironwood in Edengrove. Most people I come across try to attack me, and if they don’t, I attack them.

Why would you let people compete with your for the gathering nodes?

Further more the luck bonus is a scam aswell, the additional 10% does not seem to do anything. did a full Myrk and Mines, huge team and my gear WM score went up 1 point all over.

Flagged luck PvP is just toddler punching, murder-hobo, zerging. With out risk / reward, PvP is pointless… No loot … There’s not even killboards to raise your tiny self-esteem…

I agreed with the crafting. All my 200 skill trades level are worth around 150k from the mats used to level em. And I spent about 140k early on the 3 major armoring trophy and major arcana trophy. I have yet to make my money back from those investment. Don’t think I ever will. My luck is so terrible. I really wished I grind my watermark early on, and invested money into high mining gears very early on to farm orichalcum when void ore was still $10k+.
