Fortification is bad for game design

Dodging is just as effective in all armor classes, the difference between light and heavy dodges is the fact light can use those dodges to disengage/engage. Rend is a slider with Fortify, it’s taken into account after armor mitigation. You must be thinking of armor pen.

If after all dmg buffs u still complain about Fortification … then something wrong its on ur side mate.

But yea, probably u are the type that likes the game to be 1-2 shots per kill. ShooterWorld coming.

That’s not even remotely accurate. If you don’t burst someone, the chances of killing them immediately goes down, because they’ve already dodged and refreshed fortify or been healed and your consistent damage is now useless. That’s not even an issue half the time however, because overall damage output is at an all time high. We’re in a unique position that promotes unhealthy burst damage and CC lockdown, because of fortify and healing, however if you nerf fortify and healing people would just die faster.

Absolutely not. I would want them to remove/decrease the effectiveness of fortification so that they can lengthen ttk at a base level instead of relying on buffs/debuffs to solve imbalance issues.

They will not like that at all. If we nerf healing more + fortify then there will be only bows and muskets :smile:

Yeah, that’s one of the problems with this game unfortunately. The game is honestly just to the core unbalanced as a whole, starting with the way damage scales and the way health scales.

U guys are incredible, nerfed tanks to the extinction for reason that Tanks were tanking! Again the same excuse “I cant kill tank fast”.

Nerfed healers so much that u can hardly find healers now in expeditions and OPR. A bit more nerfs and healers will be also just an expedition class like tanks. Again all nerfs came because healers are healing. WoW, weapon with lowest dmg in the game and totally harmless. Yet people just spammed skills in Riposte than blamed the game.

I bet the big whine community would totally disagree to get DMG nerf. Why? For the same reason, because they are doing DMG. Sound legit?

I play tank in pvp quite often, tanks don’t benefit from fortify that much man. I get more use out of invigorated than shirking fort. If anything nerfing fortification could actually bring more tanks into the meta.

How many wars have u played?

A fair bit. Tanks got nerfed when resilience bug was fixed. They suddenly got a lot less tanky. Not saying fixing resilent was the wrong move at all, it was.
