Fortify and empower not working about my health bar

  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: US WEST Yggdrasil
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: I am using great axe and in the skills it says everytime i do a light attack, i get an empowered buff. For some reason I am not seeing this buffs. Also, it is also happening when im using the sword and shield. When I am blocking, I am suppose to get a fortify and I can’t see them too. So basically, any buffs i was suppose to get above my health bar, it is not showing or not even working.
  • Is this a bug? (If this is an exploit, please dm Aenwyn or Luxendra)
  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: I cant tell what skills to use
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No

    6:06 Pm UTC-7 on September 14,2022. It has been happening for weeks now.

This started working after 1.6.6 but I just got a minor update today 25th and it’s not working again

I’ve found a fix that was suggested by another user. I’m on Windows 11, I right clicked my date and time, it was correct to the minute but I pressed Sync time. After that all the short lived buffs are showing again, such as fortify and empower.

All my long lasting buffs like food showed previously without issue, but short timer ones didn’t. Running on paths wasn’t showing the speed boost buff as well.
Seems the issue is time synchronisation. Maybe my computers clock was out just enough that buff expiry times had already passed so they weren’t getting displayed?

OMG UR A LIFESAVER!! I have been playing ever since the July update patch dropped without being able to see my buffs! THANK YOU!!!
