Forums are full of misinformation and anti NW posts, full of trolls trying to get people to quit and play some other dying game

I see so many posts that are full of misinformation, lies and anti NW hate. An endless amount of trolling has been generating straight out lies saying how the first half of 2023 roadmap is empty and making all sorts of other lies in order to try to get people to quit NW and play some other super hated/dying game that cannot survive without monthly subs or paying for some kind of content unlock.

in ONLY the FIRST half of 2023, we are getting 10 unique things that the players have been requesting for months now and FOR FREE.

February 2023:

  1. Leaderboards with exclusive cosmetic rewards for almost every in-game activity including pvp, rewarding the top performers on the server as a new game mode that includes competition / progression / rewards in every type of activity in the game.

April/May 2023:

  1. Empyrean Forge Expedition (fire elements, fighting humanoids for the first time)
  2. Gear Sets (enabling you to create unique gear sets and switch between them in one click)
  3. New event, spring tide bloom, world-changing event, go out and capture bugs
  4. New spring event raid boss
  5. Improving main story questline in Weavers and Brightwood with multiple mini world bosses

July/August 2023:

  1. Transmog
  2. Raid groups
  3. End-game open world raid boss, hardest-to-date PvE content
  4. OPR Cross Server
  5. Other unanounced surprise

September-November 2023

While I agree that there is a lot of unnecessary negativity on the forums, the feedback for the roadmap is definitely not part of that. It really doesn’t matter how much people try to sugarcoat the fact that the roadmap has little to no content, especially none for PvP players, the negative feedback is completely valid.

The amount of true content on the roadmap, not talking about minor features that are presented as major additions (like raid groups), is most definitely below industry standard in the MMO space and there is really no way to feel great about it as somebody that has supported the game for a long time.

I love the game, but the roadmap is massively disappointing, especially considering the really bad state New World is in currently. And I’m sure that’s how most players feel about it.

I have more posts constructively criticising NW and providing real feedback than anyone on these forums… Your kind of posts are nothing but trolling/hate/anti NW misinformation/promoting some super hated competitor game.

but it is the thruth unfortunately…a minority of americans came up with this automated answer…the so called politicians bought by the you know who…they came up with this answer as a way to demonize people who have a different opinion. Now, the entire country repeats it robotically.

Still no pvp content. Soooo that’s a big fat bummer.

They can add as much PvE features as they want. If I’m gonna have to play OpR for another year I’m still not interested

A new pvp map wont stop people from crying on the forums about how OP certain weapons are. Your posts suggest a new arena map is the solution…what will some kind of a new terrain do exactly? An arena has no other objective but kill or get killed…

your post history is full of nothing but hate filled toxic posts full of insults…not something a sane person would ever do.

Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Why do we need new expeditions then? Why do we need new anything.

Tbh the whole game should just be the starter beach in first Light and nothing else.

Content variety is worthless after all. That’s what u are saying

pvp is about player versus player dynamic fights where no two fights are ever the same…sandbox is what pvp is all about…new expeditions are needed because NPC fights are unique and scripted…

It serioualy blows my mind how far the forum mods have let this guy go on insulting people.

Dudes got more experience in New World since October 13th than any of us put in the last 18 months.

Just like to add that most of the misinformation comes directly from Akracis posts.
