Forums are full of misinformation and anti NW posts, full of trolls trying to get people to quit and play some other dying game

what if those games dont live up to such high expectations?

It’s always better to try the new MMO than stick around and play with a bad one, that’s how MMOs work. People will definitely try it out, there’s a chance it’ll be a great game and there’s a chance it will be a terrible game. Even if it’s a good one, they might have a lot of pay2win systems which will make a lot of people quit in a couple of months time anyway, then we complain and wait for the next one.

I have better hope actually for other games than NW, Simply

Agreed. But he’s making a definitive statement that they will be superior which he doesnt have any direct knowledge about.

Im sure people said the same about NW without ever playing it.

Its just a case of “the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence”.

And as you point out, it may not be.

Hope based on what?

On my expectations for a PvP Friendly MMO like Throne & Liberty, For a PVE game i ve already FFXIV, i can see lots of trouble with PvP in this game, i loved to play it and i try today to play more (1200 Hours) but its hard actually for me to find some fun, when i ve knew some golden age pvp game like , Archeage, Aion, Blade and Soul, Black Desert etc by the past

T&L won’t even have any open world pvp. It’s all periodically instanced. Plus it’s tab targeting.

I’ll take the risk of the next MMO being a disappointment. NW trained me well how to spot BS mechanics and exploits, so that I will not have stick around for as much as in NW.

But where did you get the information about Throne and Liberty?

You havent even stuck around for NW.

He’s going to take a risk. Lol

But as soon as he spots an exploit or bad game mechanic, he’ll post non-stop on the forums, he will!

I’m 99% sure those games these people are talking about going to be the salvation of the genre. Will be highly disappointed. I say this because they don’t like any of the current good MMOs on the market. Which means these MMOs coming from the looks of it, will not satisfy them either. TL will be P2W make no mistake about it. And AoC is still at least a decade away from release.

The reason it’s dying esepcally from a PvP standpoint is the weapon balancing, desync, and lots of bugs. This is the worst PvP I can recall in this game. I quit during the vg/ig one shot meta… came back summer and thought pvp was as balanced as it will get. But now after brimstone what they did was inexcusable. You think a measly leaderboard is going to save pvp? PvP is horribly unbalanced and no such thing as a skill gap anymore… eye frames don’t exist. And by the time transmits roll out at the end of the year nobody will be playing

How did you come to that conclusion? Have you played them? Have you maxed leveled in them?

What is you experience with those games?

There will be at least 1,500 people still playing New World at the end of 2023. That’s enough for one sever worldwide. Again, ArcheAge is still going with less than 1,000 concurrent players at peak. New World can and will do the same thing if it comes to that.

You seem to not want to talk but argue over nothing. Reread what I’ve said in that post you quoted. The answer you are looking for is there.

1,500 that is not good. That’s a dead game… I loved this game but it’s the sad truth

There is a discord and a director’s cut for T&L

At your suggestion, i did reread it and found the issue.

I think you meant that as one thought even though it is two sentences.

Maybe like this: "Im sure 99% of those games that they say will be the salvation of the genre will not be and they will be disappointed. "

If that is what you meant then I agree.
