Forums are full of misinformation and anti NW posts, full of trolls trying to get people to quit and play some other dying game

What I can say after seeing the repeating patterns of comments from forum trolls and toxic posters is that they display a combination of severe self-hate, depression, anger, extreme anxiety/stress, hatred for life and all things positive, constructive and realistic.

Their refuge and escape from the above conditions being NW is the saddest part. And since it too is not living up to their extremely unrealistic expectations, it too like their real life has to go through the same treatment of loathing.

Best thing is to block them at the user ID level as they are not worth listening to or spending a second of our time reading what drivel they pollute these forums with.

I can see why the mods are letting them be because it’s a lost cause and ignoring them is the best way to deal with them instead of acknowledging their drivel and replying to it.

Marking as solution to keep on top.

People keep repeat roadmap thing to generate drama, but somehow they ‘forget’ to mention that in next video after roadmap New World team mentioned that there will be MORE than what has been listed in roadmap.
They only listed ‘few’ roadmap objectives that they are sure 100% of achieving, but they planning and working on MORE objectives.

But I’ve said more times, New World would have been in much better place WITHOUT FORUM! They should delete/disable forum and create a monthly feedback ticket or just let feedback opened as it is now.

You mean the video where they answered the question about PVP content and directly said no they are not working on any new PVP modes or maps?

Doesn’t reworking the influence system to work in a new way constitute a new pvp mode? I find this more beneficially than a new opr map with the same mode. The current influence mode is simply awful

Making assumptions about ppl you don’t know, insulting them for not agreeing with you, says allot about you.

All the points that were made are facts! There is no other way about it.

As for what’s coming (road map), you haven’t even seen nor tried it. We can’t talk shit about it but we can’t praise it either.

Historically speaking, the expectations have been crushed time and time again.

Not to mention the PvP portion of the road map.
… yes, it doesn’t exist.

I understand that some fan boys are hyped but the great majority of players, are sceptical considering the patch history.

So you shouldn’t unlimited players that, unlike you are not hyped about what is to come, based on previous patches.

True, but to be honest that’s what’s to be expected at this point. I’m thinking we will get more additions to music before a significant PvP update.

I have adapted. Overcome. I’m a filthy casual now with no hopes or expectations.

…A ukulele would be sweet. If anyone’s reading.

No, it’s not a new PVP mode and is primarily a feature for people who do wars. Which is a pretty limited % of the PVP population. They also said that after a successful defense of the forts that people can’t try to push you again for a while. This means it doesn’t really help the need for more PVP that can be done consistently but is instead time limited.

Personally, I don’t even like the proposed idea because it means now forts can’t be turned into something to fight over constantly in the open world. I had ideas for them that I would have much preferred and would have gotten consistent action going.

Imo it’s a much bigger change to pvp than a new opr map would be. I’m way more excited about cross server opr and the new influence system than I would be about a simple new opr map with the same mode. Honestly some of the best pvp I’ve experienced is at forts, so making them a bigger part of influence system is pretty cool.

IMO it’s a minor change that will only benefit a minority of PVP players because it’s tied to wars which are for a minority of players. Regardless it’s definitely not a new mode or new map or ranked.

I agree that forts could be great fun…which is why I don’t like their idea of making it so that after the company defends it, they can’t be pushed again for a while. Would much rather have seen them turned into forts like daoc frontiers with strong faction buffs to be fought over 24/7.

If it changes the way influence is obtained and won then it most certainty is a new mode.

Just going to quote myself since you ignored the bulk of the substance of why I disagree.

So it’s not a new mode because not every one participates in it? Not everyone plays arenas but it surely was a new mode.

And just because you may prefer a different mode or use for forts, doesn’t negate the fact that the new influence system or mode will alter the way influence is won. It is clearly without question a new mode. You may not like the the new mode, but it is new. Just like if you took the current opr map and changed the way a team won, it would be a new mode as well.

In the literal sense. Should people say “we want a new instanced PvP mode” every time or are you being trivially literal here?
