Everytime I swap weapons I get a FPS drop of 2 to 3 fps. If I spam the key I can tank my fps untill I reach about 10 or so.

You have to restart the game, and it will fix it temporarily. This post belongs in the bug forum because it’s an issue with the game. There’s already a lot of forum posts on it. Here’s one with a response from a community moderator:

Please be aware that FPS dropping with weapon swap is a new bug that was introduced in the Brimstone patch. Please know this, so when you respond to further inquiries about this issue, you can move the post to the bug forum, and inform the poster that it’s a known issue. Thanks.
Indeed restarting does get rid of the bug. However, I will have to count the amount of arena/Dungeons I csn Do before it happen again.
