Fraction change2

Hello, well, I had a yellow faction, I started doing other missions for factions (only for experience) and it accidentally changed to green, which I didn’t want, supposedly I had a 60 day lock for a change. The whole team plays in the yellow faction and it spoils the game for us now because suddenly these 60 days are valid for change. Is it possible to change this faction back to yellow?
The faction change day is November 13, 2022, unfortunately I don’t remember the time.

Regards and I am asking for help

Sadly, right now they are unable to change the faction cooldown timer.

but it’s a mistake, not mine, so I’m counting on a change of this faction. If there’s a bug that hasn’t been fixed, they should fix it manually…

I mean, it’s not really a bug. as far as I’m aware it should warn you before switching faction.

Regardless, they haven’t been resetting anyone’s timers, as far as I’m aware they don’t have the tools to do so.

A case of blasting through dialogue unfortunately

That’s right, but if they declare for 60 days without changing, why can I suddenly change and not after a while? Then they should completely disable the day restriction. You know, even pure human curiosity forces you to press “Yes, I want to join” and in your head there is a thought “I wonder if there is a mistake”, then you think “what if I can’t come back?”

Because you hadn’t switched in the past?

(For the record: I agree! The UI should be very clear on the decision you are making!)

You can change factions immediately after choosing a faction for the first time, after that it’s 60 days. Other than that I don’t know what they’re referring to.

I’m referring to the fact that when you select a faction, you immediately get information that it is assigned for 60 days, without the possibility of changing it, so why can I change it on the same day? This is simply a bug in the game, lack of information for the player, which is why many (as far as I know) make the same mistake.

I noticed that Enkidu is a fresh start server. Meaning you use your first faction change, which is a 60-day cooldown. Choosing a faction does not count as changing factions.

Changing factions was clearer before as you didn’t have to do a faction initiation quest and it didn’t lead directly to choosing/changing a faction.

This. Was always this way. You made a mistake so unfortunately have to wait it out

There is a “workaround”. After transfering to an other server the CD will be resetted.
Before considering doing this, make sure your current server has no transfer lock.
Otherwise you have to wait 60 days.

They are on Enkidu which is a fresh start server and transfers are not available. Also, read the post, this is a problem for them as they are playing with other people, transferring servers would make that worse.

lol, okay, have a nice day.
Sorry that i didnt realise that they are on a FSS, but i suggestet to transfer to an other server, change faction and transfer back, maybe you should read my post…

But what are you telling me that I chose factions and I have to wait 60 days. I chose the factions, I got information that it is not possible to change the faction for 60 days. I did missions from another faction and it changed for me. Now suddenly when he wants to change it informs me that I can’t for 60 days. What interests me is how it used to be. I got the information 60 days, do you understand? If I can’t, why can I? I chose the yellow faction and on the same day (or the next) I change to another one and suddenly I can’t. This is a game bug. Where is the information that I can change the first time? There is no … I just got information that I can’t for 60 days. Why should I wait 60 days now if I was supposed to wait before but I changed it because … because there is a mistake … damn such talk that my attention is wrong because you play for a while and you know it is so. I came back to the game, there are many changes and it was not clear to me, what should I do? Wait 60 days, the whole game is ruined because I can’t play with my friends in one faction because there is a bug in the game… Don’t write me such things that you play and it’s been like this for x time and it’s so clear to you!

The developers have acknowledged how easy it is to change factions without intending to and will probably change it soon.

No, it’s not. Maybe the language isn’t clear when you join a faction for the first time. It’s saying if you are changing factions then you won’t be able to do so again for 60 days. Choosing a faction is completely separate from changing factions and does not trigger the 60-day CD. Therefore, on a new character, it is possible to choose two different factions that day. However, afterward, you will be stuck with a 60-day cooldown.

I can assure you this is how it’s been working since launch. The only part that has changed is the faction initiation quests, and how that relates to choosing and changing factions.

The only thing this affects how you play with others is in Open World PvP and Wars. If you don’t do either then there’s hardly any difference. Even if you plan on playing in Wars together you can still be on the roster together as long as they are not fighting against the faction you’re in.

There is information that after choosing a faction (chosen, not changed) for 60 days I can’t change it. This type of error should not happen, I believe that since it is on such a huge scale they have to bear the blame and change it manually.

It changes a lot because pvp is one thing but doing faction missions or PVP in the open world

Hello @Malutki welcome to the forums,

I am sorry to read you are having issued with the faction change cooldown. This seems to have been correctly answered by your fellow gamers and as mentioned by @JakeL, the faction change cooldown can’t be override as this is an intended behavior of the game.

Thanks everyone and have a great adventure in Aeternum! :zombie:

It might be time to tackle the basic bugs rather than adding new stuff that still has the same bugs. If I had a bug that I’m creating an item that has a bug in it, it’d be a big deal, but if there’s a bug that affects my gameplay, you don’t care.
How does a company like this, releasing a game that is supposed to serve many players, allow such errors …
I’m guessing it’s not about the days to change factions. You have a database in which you have faction tables and you just need to change the ID but if you were to do it for everyone now you probably don’t want to, and you should be blamed for mistakes.

Oh, and I’m sure if I now rank on a faction, I’ll lose it later if I change it, right?
So 60 days will go to hell

Amazon… “have a great adventure in Aeternum!” Pf…
