Freezing on launch and shut down my computer

I used to play New World in 2021 and wanted to play again with friends but when start the game on steam just freeze everything on launch. Window of the game shows up and my cursor get into a spinner and vanish then everything is shut down, my monitor, mouse, keyboard only the CPU remains with power on but everything gets freeze. I already try everything, reinstall the game 5 times in differents ssd and m1, reinstall steam and did this using windows 10. I decided to formated my computer and install windows 11 but the error persists, already reinstall Easy-Anti-Cheat, deleted savedata and files from AGS folder. Download New World Public Test Realm and get the same error, all my drivers are up to date and nothing change. I try to run the game as administrador but another error shows up that says “Unrecovable Error: Unexpected steam_appid.txt file found” and if I deleted that file and try to run again i get this another error “Unrecovable Error: Steam must to be running to play this game. Make sure you are logged into Steam, then try again”. I alredy did everything and verify integrity of game files lot of times. I don’t know what can i do anymore.

My GPU is AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB and CPU processor Ryzen 5 1600, memory 16gb RAM.

Sounds like you’re trying to run the game on a pretty old machine. Have you looked in to Geforce Now?

I run games much heavy then New World like Warzone or God of War…
Doesn’t make much sense get this error because my machine is old. One of my friends use a RX 580 and processor same as mine Ryzen 5 1600 even the version(and BIOS) of his motherboard is the same one of mine and the game works normal. Sorry I don’t understand what can i look into Gerforce, can you explain?

The short answer is this:

I can play (albeit barely) on my 1060 and you can’t play at all. Aside from variables you may not be looking at, (ie amount of memory, CAS of that memory, CPU/cache, or even the fact that my 1060 may have better quality memory than yours) you can’t compare your machine to your friends. I can build 2 machines with the exact same parts from the exact same mfg and get completely different bench marks. Even tho they are all apples, you can’t always compare them.

You have a very old machine by todays standards, and NW is far more demanding than twitch games (as in reflex) than games like WZ or GoW.
