You should run minimum 3 fresh servers in EUROPE . Its better to merge them when it comes to, then have 3000 ppl in queue and then they lose their interest and leave the game again.
We are going to need more than just 3 per major region.
If there are less than 6 in US-West-1, East-1, and EU-West-1, there are going to be biblical queues on Nov 2nd
Its ganna be like Classic WoW launch all over again where Blizzard only started with THREE classic sized servers for a game more popular than retail by like a 4x margin at the time.
Difficult to make assumptions, on how many fresh server will be needed. Let’s see at the player count after Brimstone is live and then continue with that.
The word marge (think he meant “merge”) should be outlawed from the Dev vocabulary and never done again.
