All new players will be pointed to fresh start servers. Non-fresh start servers will get vastly limited new blood. I’d love to see a lot of new players running around on my server too.
Let me know if you need help too, since you seem to fail to understand that while something can release and be separated from something, it will affects others indirectly.
The servers we have right now will miss players when fresh start servers go live. If you really think that it will be only new players playing on that fresh start servers then i can tell you thats not the case either.
I realy dont understand why fresh start server are a thing in a game that is not even one year old.
The game didnt even receive its big major update yet since it was released. Brimstone will be the first realy big one.
If people want to experience the game like it was at release date you can just create a new character and enjoy it the way you want on your current server. Most players will be lvl 60 on fresh start servers within a week anyway.
There will be always companies owning the major cities receiving milions of gold every week also.
Fresh start servers might be hyped for a month but for sure not longer.
You cant repeat what WoW did with classic since the game was out for many years and had a lot of expansions during that time.
Anyways i just hope they dont release fresh start servers at the same time as brimstone goes live because that will just split the playerbase.
I mean at least it would be one way to make sure old servers dont have such a long queue.
So what your saying is, a lot of players want fresh servers, even current players, but not me so they should not do it to attract new/returning players.
