Hi all.
I want to ask, how did you feel after level 50?
For me it’s just hell, very few quests, locations where you are sent high-level and even in the heaviest armor and most high-level equipment for my level character, I get in the face so painful that some quests just can not be done.
There is no equipment after level 54, the next only for level 60 character.
From mobs falls one green/blue slag. Although until the 50th level it poured purple stuff a lot.
At the auction is not normal lat armor with the right parameters.
I ran 14 levels with the same iron helmet, because there was nothing to replace it!
Have to run in old dungeons to somehow raise the experience, otherwise the mobs on the actual quests I tear apart.
Wild prices to repair equipment.
Blew while doing the quest - lay out half the gold cost of the quest itself, it’s just wild nonsense.
I reached 50 th level three weeks ago and I’m still only 58 th!!!
I already go into the game with hatred, after 50go no fun from the game, wherever you go, you are everywhere and have to often run from the graveyard and fix all the equipment.
I currently have 2 quests in Reekwater, where I cannibalized as a rag, although I’m in heavy armor. And there are 2 quests in a dungeon Dynasty, where are i cant find a party.
And that’s it.
I do not know whether to pull to the 60 th and whether it makes sense.
Over the last 8 levels the game has worn me out and dried up, no fun.
honestly it took me 2-3 days of town projects. If you can pick them they’re just free levels.
I raised these levels by doing a little bit of everything with pvp, dg, city quests and what I used the most to gain exp was crafting.
Orichalcum/Wirefiber/etc. are generally cheap.
And you can start refining them at 150, which means town board quests will start giving you 10k exp.
I just rotated through the cities and zoomed through the 50s.
Three faction quests a day, if you do low-level elite ones, should net you 400 coins a day at least.
And if you loot the chests during those missions, you should get plenty of equipment to salvage, so I dunno what to tell ya.
If you really can’t manage your resources for repairs, then simply wear junk items as “work clothes.”
And if you’re really desperate for repair parts, try making (wooden?) furniture. IIRC, I was getting two repair parts back per salvage.
You can 60 in 1 day just do town project with 3 city, buy some items in market.
My climb from 50 to 60 was long and arduous. Especially because I tried to play the game instead of just farming town boards or some other type of cheese. Personally, I farmed Ebonscale Reach’s faction board but, as I said, it took me a while. I tried tackling higher level content that was advertised as “solo” by the game but didn’t have much success so I just went back to Ebonscale Reach. Once I got to 60 I started farming Reekwater’s faction board until I purchased a full set of commander faction armor.
Did faction pvp quests in reekwater (for tokens for full gear set at 60) from 58 to 59.8 didnt take very long, few hours (4-6 maybe) then i litterally broke roclks for an hour to get the last 20% to 60. Tons of ways to get xp. Sounds like you may need to learn where you can/can’t play solo, and consider learning how to get the most out of your weapons/skills to optimize your build to your preferred play style. also, gear absolutely exists level 54,55,56,57,etc, sounds like you were just fighting level 54 mobs.
I would say the same as everyone else - do a little bit of gathering, processing mats, townboards - and you be 60 in day or 3…
Set a goal of getting some trade skill to 200 - focus on that and dont mind your level, you will be suprised how easy it will be to get to lv60 if its not your main focus.
TBH I’m at level 57 and levels 40-57 were the easiest for me. I guess easier being a life staffer.
Town projects reaaaaaally helped and I never did them until like mid level 30s
But because the city board with quests is very boring and each completed quest gives very little experience. For the whole game I made only 5-6 quests from the city board. For me, it seemed very sad and depressing.
And i dont like pvp.
I just want to say that before level 50, the game was friendlier fun and easier.
I was changing outfits every level at the auction, there were a lot of quests in different cities, people were crowding at the dungeons.
Now only hardcore and silence in lfg chat
Its true that first two weeks after launch leveling was easy - everyone was looking for buddies for expeditions - i think i did like 30 times amrine as healer , now you barely see people asking for amrine parties … (low pop server issue)
I made it to lv60 in two weeks and then i went back to my main quest which was at lv30 xD … I just did way too much gathering and trade skilling, that main quest was just not appealing to me at that time - and its also pain to do, with all the running.
Every trade skill level will give you exp + every gather gives you like 5-15exp… i think half of my exp i gained was from trade skills/ gathering
thats true! took me 2-3 days to get there was boring as fk.
Broooo, for me from 50-60 it was the easiest leveling I could ever done and quickest one. It took me 2 days maybe less to hit 60. Simple, get level 53 doing quests or town projects quests. on level 53 gear up as a tank or heal and go to Dynasty entrance, Spam that you, as a tank or a heal looking for a group. Like that spam expedition quest which is next to the entrance, 1 quest is about 1/4, 1/5 of level.
Because most of the people are running dps builds u will be taken as heal/tank one after another. Also if u see people with lower level that are standing there, ask them if they have an orb that you are a tank or heal and you can make a team with him
It was harder than 40 to 50, but the really hard part is getting all the items to GS 600 with good stats and perks:)
Honestly, it went fast. We had corruption trains, Town Boards and the end of the story quests gave tons of xp too. I think its fine.
Going from 50 to 60 is a bit difficult in terms of getting gear. I think that I hit 60 while primarily having level 48-52 gear. Part of this was because it is difficult to find gear after level 50 but before 60, and the trading post filter was messed up after I hit 52; it kept showing me level 60 gear even though I filtered by “can equip”. The good thing about this is that I ended up saving a lot of coins since I no longer kept updating my gear, so I was able to shoot up to like gear score 580 as soon as I hit 60.
As for leveling, it wasn’t too bad. The game is filled with quests, so I was able to reach 60 by doing that. I hear that many people do town boards but I didn’t touch any of that.
no different than 30-40
from 55-60 I just ran pvp missions.
I kept doing quests after 50 and got to the point that each quest was barely filling up a centimetre of my ultrawide 35" monitor around level 54. Almost quit the game seeing how utterly ridiculous it is and how boring those repetitive quests were.
Ended up doing town board quests for the most part as some of them give 7400XP. Managed to get a couple quests that pay out something around 10-12k XP and progressed a bit but the final few levels were far too grindy.
The irony is that there’s nothing to do once you reach 60 so there wasn’t any point in getting there.
