Frost Attunement on Ice Gauntlet Prevents Heavy Freeze Perk from rooting

3. I just got a new ice gauntlet with frost attunement on it. I noticed in opr that my heavy attacks on frostbitten enemies weren’t rooting them. After the opr I tested the perk on a friend in a duel and the root is just non-existent. After this I swapped back to the Blackguard’s Ice Gauntlet and the root works as intended. I haven’t been able to test any of the other attunements but after asking around I’m pretty confident that Frost Attune is the only one with this issue.

5. The bug removes a core functionality of the Ice Gauntlet tree
6. Only by using a different ice gauntlet that doesn’t have the frost attunement perk
7. I don’t have a video to show the bug in action but it’s very easy to reproduce.
8. Duel someone while you have the ice storm ability and heavy freeze perk on the ice gauntlet tree with a frost attunement ice gaunt > heavy attack them while they’re standing in the storm > have them dodge right after the heavy attack lands. They will be able to move around immediately as no root is applied to them.
