Show us your gear and clips of you fighting because I can promise you it’s not the FS that’s the problem.
There is a healthy amount of counter player against the FS at the moment. You are just bad.
I assume you have no resil, no shirking fort, run 100 con and are under GS600 so your getting dumped on by average gear 625 mages.

I was in a team with a bb/ig that managed to azoth blast a heavy armor player for half of his hp. The bb player mentioned he had BIS gear. I have to ask, what BIS gear has to with people being able to take half hp from a tank with one skill…
I swear every patch you idiots keep calling for nerfs, just buff other shit or git gud.

With all the nerfs and buffs on the other side, the strongest weapons kinda switched now
But war meta is still the same because its not about damage. I wish AGS would understand that after almost 1 year and just buff the weapons that are behind instead of nerfing meta and buffing everything else.
This game will never be balanced because the gear disparity is crazy. One guy get hit for 8k another guy get hit for 800. That is too big of a range based on gear/buffs to be able to properly balance anything.

it is bugged now, when ur first initial hit crits ( the only hit of meteor shower that does crit )
and u have the skill " let it burn " it does refresh the empoweredment buff, for the whole burn duration ( which is way longer then the Meteor Shower Duration)
BUT and thats a big BUT if u have enough refreshing/refreshing Evasion and use Heavy Attacks, after the End of casting Meteor Shower
u can get the CD of the Skill up before the Buff Ends.
Which means, even without the BUG u still can have it permanent.
@Gray-Wolf be aware tho, if u have the Empowering Meteor Shower Perk on ur Weapon, u loose the Buff, as soon as u swap the Weapon.
If u have it on ur Armor, the Buff stays, after swapping Weapons ( works as intended btw… )
Fire Staff has ZERO CC, hits for LESS then a musket, a bow, a Blunderbuss, a spear or a hatchet which all HAVE CC.
Also the projectiles are SLOWER and harder to land and have shorter range than the range weapons that I mentioned above, also Fire ball has drop off.
In Conclusion, totally OP, plix nerf naw omgwft…

PS meteor shower sux though, I will never use it, with or without perk.
to be immortal all he needs is light armor, a life staff and a rapier…

but like i said, even without the Bug u are able to have the 20% Empowered ( and honestly mage has nearly none…
clear casting if u dont got damaged for 3 sec > 5% empowered LUL
or Clear Mind > above 50% Mana u have 5% Empowered Lul…
oh and the Pyromania, when nearly dead ( below 50% hp ) u deal 15% more dmg.
btw below 50%, i am running… and dodging, not attacking xD

ye… so u cant really benefit from the extra dmg. rather run and survive then deal 15% more and die within next hit
Even if he ran 5 con that’s not possible unless the tank was way under GS600 and running little con.
I have every weapon 625 and even if I ran a glass cannon build I’m not hitting a heavy tank for half their health with 1 ability.
Now a glass cannon using plagued splitting grenades, left click and shrapnel blast in conjunction which is what a BB Skitzo does I could see it doing half health.
When I play light armor bruiser at 200 con I’ve never been hit for half my health by any SINGLE ability because I have shirking fort x3 resil x5 and 2 freedom
I’ve made these references at 600GS because ur viable at least at that GS if someone is under 560 your just getting deleted by anyone.
Yes bow is way stronger than fs, by worlds. Bow can shoot over 100m while fs can only 40m. Bow can shoot 2x faster than fs and also bow has little stuns. fs would lose on every comparison, although the fs is very strong
