Full storage when it's not?

Most likely you reached item number cap. It’s very frustrating and I struggle with it a lot especially with so many types of gems, food and mods.

you probably at max item variety count, which is set at 500 or something.

nobody knows why. it’s just one of the many things that bother people that won’t be fixed. if it can’t be fixed quickly by setting some variable from 500 to 9999 then the data structure is just wrong.

I can put 36 lodestone, but I can’t put 1 iron ingot, there is no iron ingot in stock.
Such a problem with all the items.

Really annoyng, indeed. It’s just a dumb choice from the devs. If I’m a ghaterer I cannot storage High quantity and I waste my gaming time and azoth, searching a free space storage in the map. Also i cannot sell anything meanwhile! Really?!
