Take a good look at what kind of posts majority pop up on the forums since Day 1.
People expect the world from a company with 12 years of App games under their belt vs companies with 5 - 30yrs of mmoâs under theirs. Its clear as day from the way their pipeline functions.
Itâs not a question of being âsorryâ itâs a question of communication. If 100 posts call you a stupid piece of shit. and only 1 - 5 posts try to be constructive about it. How do you cycle through that? Theyâre not machines either.
As for AoC. It has from all the videos & gameplay a structure. NW will probably not have that for another couple years. Or AoC will be a bust. FFXIV & WoW are both games from franchises & companies that have been around for 30 - 40 years.
The community of NW isnât innocent either.

In the end it doesnât matter.
I understand what youâre saying. But reality isnât all cozy. If people leave for WHATEVER reason. They lose revenue, and maybe their jobs.
And thereâs certain behaviours that can make one aggressive side if you wanna call it more approachable and forgivable.
FFXIV did that. People werenât fond of endless queues on Endwalker aswell. Especially since you also got kicked out of it randomly.
They came out, made a public statement that they are sorry. Kicks wonât happen anymore. If they do you get a reserve time. Theyâre terribly sorry and hope you as a community can understand us that we canât get servers and wonât add more. PPL got a full month of free playtime, sales were stopped. And the result doesnât even matter, what mattered was the way of handling the issue
And you know what. People sat in the 10k people queues for 3hours and noone cared. It shifted the attitude within days.

None of it matters then. It all does or none at all.
SE had prior knowledge of mmoâs from FFXI. Didnât stop the FFXIV from having to do the whole Realm Reborn spiral because even heavy hitting game companies are not immune to fails. If anything AGS has at least held strong into launching & maintaining the game despite everything. Unlike Crucible that didnât even make it through beta when it got scrapped.

3 hour queues, 4, 5, 10. This is a normal in an MMORPG.

Whatâs not normal is locking out friends to join together despite queues.
So idk, in my book all of this is a fail. And reviews hurt. Reviews are what got people back to give the game another chance.
I really like NW and just wanted it to succeed, but I sniffed a bit too much hopium just like last year.
As pvper I also am quite annoyed with a ton of stuff rewardswise ing. So despite me not starting new there, seeing this mess makes me just want to not even login anymore. But we will see how it keeps up in some days
And the communication till now has been pretty bad.
The NW channel did some good things, but Iâd say for the mess they created now several times. Itâs just not enough. And itâs still better to get flamed by a high playerbase who still buys stuff, than a caring nice one with barely any revenue.
The internet is hard and be swayed in both sides, but this here is clearly not working.

They were until two hours ago. Us east hasnât seen a new fresh start server in over 2 hours. All servers are over max capacity.

Iâm not of course trying to insinuate that AGS is without blame. Just not going to give them the whole blame. AGS has no experience in an MMO much less a AAA game and have been making mistakes that are expected from a first game basis.
What I argue is that the forum doesnât have a clue or at least a portion of it has no idea how to give any kind of criticism. Negative criticism can be composed without the buzz words, chaotic tone, anger, rage n so on. Then it sparks conversation which then leads to a difference of views for ags to read through and make informed decisions based on both sides. When its the blame posts, well, thatâs just Forum PvP.
In terms of what I am. PvX would fit. Though I play on average just about all genres. Some more more than others. PvP to PvE. I was drawn for the PvP here. No level of hopium was enough to prevent the utter disappointment of how lack luster war is, how boring opr is, how dumb tag simulator 3v3âs are, how bad the balancing is, blatant favoritism of some weapons over others, no genuine progression in PvP, faction quests are redundant, open world died in 3 weeks of launch, and for 1 whole year I waited for PvP to be fun. And for 1 year I have been disappointed, n yet I still sit here playing. Or its hopium, or its to see it through till it dies for real.
I didnât expect much comm from a APP Store set of Devs.
I can go on for days the number of times AGS confused the shit out of me with their backwards decisions. But really, if the community wasnât so hell bent on hating ags half the time. (Not all) but many.
If Devs & Player want it genuinely then, just for 1 day maybe start of every month, have Devs open a special forum thread where they freely talk. None of that parrot policy response. Real talk but 1000% enforce ToS, and kick out anyone that starts shit from that specific chat thread.

The worst hit was losing 99% of the playerbase. With such a huge amount of people some will just voice their frustration in different ways. Thatâs the beauty of freedom of speech.
But I still belive rude critique, no matter how harsh, is way way waay better than just silent abscence.
Forums are always a place to vent. Why else would people waste time here.
If thereâs nothing to vent people will just play.

While also if people suggest together sth. likely good for the game and it keeps ruining the experience ingame. Peoples frustration grows, and thus the words they choose.
Mine definitely does. I enjoy pvp. I donât enjoy running m10âs with sweats who want to clear in 15min tops.
But I have to, because I do not want a static, and I canât get my gear up without wasting hours with no end for shards.

I ran M10âs for awhile but theyâre so boring & easy. Made to be the exact same dungeon with extra steps and a rating score.
OPR being locked at 60 has always been redundant.
I probably wonât enjoy PvP for awhile until AGS decides what NW is suppose to be.
As for the shards. 10 wins a day I can get 6k a week. But we both know probably neither of us play casually, so 1-3 days for 20k shards from OPR.
For me, this FSS launch is premature. It should have been after a few years and a full revamp. Now its here, so either AGS learned from day 1, or the exact same life & death will take place in the weeks to come.

You could literally say best case scenario if you play a lot is like 350shards a day.
- 350 * 7 = 2450
- daily 4 gypsums? = 1600 * 7 = 11200
And letâs be generous 1 from track + 2k or so
So yea. if you play a shitton, youâre at like 10-20k a week.
To get a single set to max you need around 90k shards. Letâs say 100k cuz sometimes we switch stuff out.
So 3-5months if we take some days break to get a single set up.

Whether the game was bad or beyond bad at launch. It shouldnât be so immensely hard to formulate in a paragraph or series of paragraphs why or in a few sentences why, offer a solution, and manage to articulate it without 50 Fucks lining the page. Constructive Criticism can be mean as hell without ever uttering a âfuck youâ.
Weâre in beta? When? I felt more like this is the 4th Alpha made considering how many bugs & times I fell under the map, over the map, got flung across the map and my favorite, climbing the air.
