To recap the recipes I am missing at this time:
- Teak Dresser
- Golden Steel Storage Chest
- Black Lacquered Dining Table
- Stump Stool (Have since learned this after purchasing for 100g at AH)
- Seafoam Posh Curtains
- Powder Horn
Also, I can post this in the Bugs and Exploits but realized an issue with the new patch.
If you hit “S” and click to salvage a recipe, it does not tell you if you already know it. However, if you click to get the drop-down menu, then hit salvage it will tell you if you already know it.

Checking in on any progress. We just merged servers and still have the same issue.
Would love to get my recipes learned for something to work on since a lot of people quit after the merge.

I’ve added the list of recipes to the ticket and the information about getting or not confirmation if you already know a recipe when salvaging them.
We’re still working on escalating this issue and as soon as I get an update, I’ll let you know.

Checking back around on this issue as well as letting you know that as long as I learn one recipe at a time, then get out of the menu to check if it was learned I haven’t had any more issues.

I have tried to talk with your support and I have had no response.
I have opened two web tickets with no response and tried the chat that never seems to work.
I have salvaged twice the Goldenrod Silk Daybed to get the recipe but it does not appear in my list to craft.
Please help as this has been an issue for two months for me.

Sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing this issue with the recipes.
Could you try verifying the integrity of the files and take look at your crafting menu to confirm if the recipes aren’t still showing up? Follow the next steps:
- Look for New World on your Stream Library.
- Right click on it and select properties.
- Click on local files and then Verify integrity of game files…
Also, I’d appreciate if you could provide me with the following information:
- Character name:
- Server name:
- Name of the recipes not showing on your crafting menu:
- When did you learn the recipes:

I followed your steps and verified the integrity of the game files, however no change.
As requested
- Character name: Toshiro.RK
- Server name: Hades
- Name of the recipes not showing on your crafting menu: Goldenrod silk daybed
- When did you learn the recipes: about two months ago
I bought it from the action house, salvaged it and nothing.
I bought it a second time thinking I made a mistake and again the same.
If you can see the the web ticket I raised (which i never got a response for) it was roughly two months ago. Also these recopies cost me 1500 gold if memory serves me correctly.
So please can you get this fixed for me.

@Thelk this goes for you as well, the issue’s been fixed by now however, seems that you are still unable to find these recipes on your crafting menu, as these were learned before the fix.
I’ve escalated the issue and as soon as I get more info about this, I’ll be updating you.

Hate spending money for something I owned. Also, upsetting that I have lost money as more recipes become available for others.
Thanks again in anticipation of a resolution,
EDIT: Wanted to elaborate on this. For example the Powder Horn could have been sold on my server for $30,000 gold at the time I found it. Now it is only going for about $750 gold, since it is now more readily available.
This is what is infuriating. Even if I do receive my items back in the near future, my game play and pocketbook have severely been compromised.
Most other games would have had a resolution in a few days.
- Return the items lost.
- Give monetary compensation.
- Tell me I was out of luck and move on.
Why is something like this taking so long when it was a known issue and could have been resolved quickly?
