Agree with request for information on this Bug or Game function shutdown, what happened to promises of regular weekly updates and openness / transparency from Devs???
Finally got Furniture crafting to where I can make minor trophies, and trading is locked.
So one more income source closed. This hurts us trying to level up not just end gamers.
Trading House flooded with cheap goods very hard to make moderate gold in this game.
They took the holiday off because AGS does not consider Housing to be a core component of the game. They want you to focus on the PVPEEEEES - come on 30% luck bonuzzz amirite?
Another problem this is causing is the price of trophy mats are deflating at a rapid rate since no one can use them. Feels so bad I bought all my epic mats for 6-7k and legendary trophy mats for 15k, just to see them drop to 2k and 6k after this mess.
Ive looked at all their posts about it and I have not seen this at all. If you can find the source post that would be nice, other than that I can say the sky is purple filled with flying pigs just cuz I said I saw it somewhere and have the same credibility
Since their QA/testing team is only 2 people (referring to always breaking stuff in patches), their Auction House/trading team (who are also just 2 people by the looks of it) now had to fix EU Auction House first.
Trollmode off now tho: I agree 100% to OP. People are sitting on 100-200k worth of mats right now ezly! In asmodeum, craft mods, trophy mats, etc. and dont want to, “waste“ it just cause AGS fails to fix this for 12 days now. With 0!!! Communication regarding this issue.
I have an extremely temporary fix for those who have furniture in their inventory, but also have a house, already (sorry, if you don’t already own a house, I got nothin’ for ya…).
First, you will need to make sure the storage where your house is has the weight to hold whatever furniture you want to place there, otherwise this will not work.
Second, until they fix this, you will only be able to furnish any house in the same town where the items are in storage. Please note:I have not tested whether or not same faction storage transfer is allowed for furniture items.
If all this sounds o.k. to you, proceed!
Go to house
Place item from inventory in house
Pick up item
Item returns to storage instead of inventory
Profit!
I can confirm that even if you have two of the same item, one in storage and one in your inventory, the game will place the one in your inventory, first.
Hope this helps some of you clear your bags, for now!
i was about to post the same… it is just frustrating to have 100kg of topics in your inventory which you can’t move an surely don’t want to salvage…
Especially the luck trophy now that everything is nerfed it would greatly increase our chances of having at least some decent loot… ant not tear 3 materials in tier 5 chests…
And above all… my whole income was depending on trophies… so you can imagine the money I lost… all all the stuff I couldn’t bye on the chat market bcs i simply had no money…
The place it in your house and pick it up again to move it to storage workaround does currently work. Though I am reasonably sure the devs will see that as using a loophole to bypass the current ban and disable it shortly.
The general consensus on my server is we will not see any change for several weeks, most low level people without chests, trophies or any reasonable furniture are levelling furniture to 85 to get low level trophies and the second level of chests (levelling up using items they then salvage).
I am the Gov of a small (14ppl) company. I have now had no less than 6 players tell me they wont log on until this is fixed. All 6 have nearly 200 LBS of furniture shit in their bags and cannot: drop, trade, scrap, or otherwise remove said furniture items from their inventory. Previously I had read this and many other forum posts on a way around this… (BUG? FEATURE?) shit. Place the item then pick it up again and it will go into storage. However this is no longer the case. At the very least this no longer works in US-WEST Yggdrasil, as items simply return to your inventory. If you cant identify the bug or the fix why punish ALL OTHER PLAYERS by locking portions of their inventory?!
Imagine for a moment that anyone at Amazon played their own game (lol Blizzard too amirite). You might think that they can put more than a single intern on this problem that locks hundreds of thousands of players from portions of their inventory. Sadly no. Rather they dole out buffs and nerfs and give us a pittance of “hey we will lower your rent by 90% for 2 weeks(ish)” and call us even.
Get your shit together in a hurry or i’ll be gone too
