Agree! though the game has just started would be awesome to have some info about future plans!
What i predict is having a main story update and quests maybe in about 6 months. A DLC with new areas, main story update, quests and maybe mounts at fall off '22…
In my opinion – a road map, future plans, or SOME FORM of official communication about the state of the game is the easiest, and most cost effective way to help the current situation and it is completely beyond me why that hasn’t taken place yet.
This is a very important topic, and people are allowing other issues to overshadow it.
Bugs at launch? Normal
Lack of content at 60 for some people? Normal
No official post, or community response from staff during launch for 5+ days at a time? Absolutely insane.
To anyone from AGS – Everyone understands you guys are underwater with bug fixes, and back tracking right now…but do yourselves a favor and be more communicative to the people supporting your product through a tumultuous time.
If they just ripped the band-aid and realized communicating about the issues is better than remaining silent…the entire climate would change, but for some reason I can’t begin to understand there is an employee of Amazon thinking it’s better to remain silent.
They need to
A. Address the state of the game
B. Hire a team that will keep the community involved and informed in a friendly way.
I can’t count how many times developers posted things like this and players have held them as immutable promises.
Outside of very general ones, roadmaps are a bad idea.
BDO is a prime example of Devs setting too specfic roadmaps that backfired when they changed plans. You don’t see them release information like that anymore unless they are things well under development now.
It would be nice, but as a previous comment mentions from one of the community team, people might see these as “set-in-stone” promises more than a guideline they plan to stick to.
Once the most pressing issues are dealt with maybe they could put one out. It would be nice from a player perspective
They are taking 1 month to put the server change, something that is very standard in any game, so I can’t imagine how long it will take to put new content and that it won’t break the game when they put it.
When the game came out for me it was all positive, but seeing how Amazon is acting with the game has made me lose all hope.
It seems like they have put as few staff as possible with the game and they didn’t care about the game in the long run, just the initial boom.
