If that warhammer lunge worked 100% of the time and had that distance id agree it deserves a nerf but it dont work for me like that
Maybe its on my end maybe my internet is shit i love my full charged heavy attack but iv never been able to chase people with it or connect iv always had to physically move my toon to get within striking distance for anything
Ok so the answer is 3.5 meters. Gaxe was originally 4.5 meters. and it was nerfed to 3.5 BUT i have a video showing that it is actually 2m. This is why I needed to know if you knew what the distances actually were.
If the current distances for greataxe lunge arent accurate to what has been player tested then thats on the devs if its supposed to be 3.5 meters and it is instead actually 2 then ill agree with you it should be adjusted to 3.5 but not 4.5
That is the current distance for Gaxe and its why everyone is demanding a buff

Sounds more like a bug on the devs end at this point less they updated the info stating it should be 2 meters instead of 3.5
Their line of logic is if they did 3.5 they figured the community wouldn’t see it as enough so they tacked on an extra 1m secretly. Now every intermediate player or higher saw this. And the problem is that 3.5 would’ve been fine, but 2.5 that has low detection usually yields in place auto and you rarely get that feeling of it being in the right place. So the only people you can hit is other melee unless you have a massive TKO combo, which most don’t run
If the secretly took away more range then what was stated offically im not defending them on that if they said shits gona be 3.5 meters but they lied or a bug happened w/e it is then thats on them and it should be adjusted to the correct distance of 3.5
If that was made clear at the begining of the thread or in the video i woulda changed my tune if it was i missed it
Im not out here to defend amazon being sneaky if they said the lunge distance is 3.5 meters but secretly made it less then that i wont back that
At the same time though as a warhammer player my lunge rarely works on heavies and i mean rarely so yeah im a bit defensive when people make it sound like i can chase folks with warhammer left clicks because if thats the case iv been doing it wrong by actually closing the distance via running lol
There may be other reasons that the lunge is less like the animation to Gaxe doesnt bring you as far as Hammer does, but its still a 2m lunge and needs to be fixed
If its supposed to be 3.5 ill agree then it should reflect what is stated by them for whatever reason it isnt rather intentional or not on amazons part i dont know
The games got plenty of bugs this could simply be one like warhammer lunge it has distance sure and it rarely works for me
Iv tried dueling people on ferri who ran rapier ice gauntlet med armor i could not catch them for shit whether its a lunge bug desync idk all i can say shit dont work for me
Warhammer lunge misses a lot, but its still sticky. I’ll swap to my hammer to light attack spam just to keep up sometimes.
I think the biggest issue is adjusting pvp scaling to casuals. You should be adjusting to higher tier players, not the lower end. If you base on the casual, you’ll see muskets hitting mediums for 6k regularly, you’ll see bows one shotting anyone dreaming of using anything less than medium, and you’ll see VG never touched. Its a joke, and the main reason they’re losing a 1% player. Before people complain on the forums we need validation checks, that literally shows their in-game achievements and actual playtime. Highest player kill count in OPR, wars, how much their damage done, healing done, damage mitigated, their contribution numbers on invasions.
My character dont even do the animation have the time it he sits still could be a plethora of reasons for it
And if it turns out to ever be fixed and i see people warhammer left clicking their way to people ill be 1 of the first to say it needs a nerf
If there was actually pvp in this game i could agree with how they balance it people on ferri flagged hardly ever fight each other especially in mines they all have truces
Wars are always filled and outpost rush i spend half the match trying not to get sniped by a range spec which im not gona say needs a nerf but its disheartening to be on war hammer light armor trying to catch people
While some fucker is shooting me from 50 meters away
This PvP by no stretch of the imagination rewards effort it rewards exploiters and flavor of the month metas so does the entire game in that instance sadly

Hatchet has better attack tracking now compared with GA, also Spear. Stop thinking and saying shit before you play it/test it. Void blade from VG also god tier. GA has probably the 2nd worst tracking after rapier, but that is ok since also rapier can DPS like crazy.
Warhammer might not be that greatb also, but you don’t need it (as you have tons of CC that can hold the target in place) and, although I don’t have much experience with it, I think it is still better than GA.
Also stop trolling the people showing you clear videos, nobody has time for your shenanigans
You should preform this same test while you’re running with 50 other players so you can see the desync and how it always favors great axe.
If I had a nickel for every SUCCESSFUL ESCAPE I’ve made from a GA scrub, that magically sucked me back 20 feet and killed me… I’d have a thousand dollars.
Greataxe is still broken, Bow is worse, musket is worse. Firestaff still worst weapon in the game.
