I uninstalled the game, I’m here because I genuinely like the game and enjoyed it and if somehow enough people can see how this change negatively impacted players and it gets reversed or reworked, I want to come back to the game. I’m not here to shit on the game, I’m here because I want it to be better

All you did was duel in open world, and avoided wars and invasions. Your view of the game is very much lacking then!!! People are able to bring up points that fall outside of dueling.

Like I said here dude I don’t hate the game. And I was repeating myself over and over and over to that guy and he kept drawing incorrect conclusions about what I was trying to say. It got a little irritating ngl lmao.
But to your point of why I don’t just leave. It’s because I never wanted to leave in the first place. I want things to change for the better so I don’t end up wanting to quit.
This is why I’m still in the forums fighting for my voice to be heard. It’s the chance that maybe if enough people who are in the same boat as me speak up we might get heard and things might change.

Not true, I did plenty of wars on my old server Mu. I enjoyed them as well. I did a few invasions but tbh I didnt have the trophies or enough AOE dmg to be super useful in them. My view is not lacking. I am very experienced in pvp in this game. I simply preferred open world pvp and dueling.

I did participate in wars, did fairly well in them. Long story short me and my friend got kind of screwed over by a guild that wasn’t treating us well that we had been fighting wars with and I ended up switching servers and factions so we could play with his brother and their friends. After that I didn’t really do much warring. But yeah, I contributed my share.
Am I throwing a pity party, idk I guess it could be looked at like that. Tbh I think there are others like me who are upset that melee no longer has a chance against ranged players and I’m here because I want to help spread awareness that this is an issue for a lot of us.
It’s not that I dont want to adapt my skills, I dont want to regrind a new set of gear and weapons and spend a lot of time getting good with it (I’d be competing with ppl that have been using these builds for hundreds of hours since day one and honing their skills with it) all for a playstyle I don’t even particularly enjoy (kiting players around and peppering them with damage).

Think of it like this, if they removed lifestaff completely tomorrow, would you tell people who have been using lifestaff since day one and love healing to adapt their skills. No, you’d be like “This is bullshit” just like the rest of us would. To me melee duelist is the same thing, its a role in the game that effectively no longer exists. For those of us who have been playing it for hundreds of hours and getting good with it, it kind of sucks that it was taken out of the game
That is simply not true. The majority of the people that frequent the forums dont even participate in discussion. Those that do, are an incredibly small percentage of the total population of the game.
I will “slap” any argument that is flawed. Why are you here to argue about Rubberbanding being bad for any weapon?

I have listed multiple fucking reasons as to why the nerf was game-changing and eliminated melee ability to counter ranged players, and all you fucking have to offer with 0 explanation or evidence is:

I didn’t spend hours formulating a detailed explanation of why the GA nerf fucked melee over and turned this into a ranged meta only to be told baselessly that the GA nerf was minimal without offering an explanation as to why my points are invalid.

Your great axe can still two shot me, though. I think balance in PvP needs to be scaled to the highest of situations.
a) how can it be abused in war
b) how can it be abused in opr/open world
c) then how can it be abused in duels, solo, pve, etc
GA is no joke man. My buddy is absolutely demolishing with it.

Got left behind. As I mentioned I’m not gonna regrind an entire new dex or mage build just to compete with ppl that have been practicing these builds for hundreds of hours when kiting is not even a playstyle I enjoy. But I’m not the only one getting “left behind” the game is worse for everyone if all the melee users quit and range becomes the only thing useful outside of just sitting on a point getting healed and spamming AOE attacks like maelstorm
GOOD! Stop posting and leave! You said you quit. But you make a troll post with dozens of folks telling you you’re wrong. Your little niche build may be useless, but the tiny reduction in lunge and the loss of a whole 70 points of damage every half a minute is negligible.
You uninstalled. So stop crying and leave. The devs don’t care that you quit—which we all know you didn’t cause people like you cannot stop when they feed on it.
Melee is just rubber banding in this game where your skills don’t work half the time.
