"GAME BREAKING" Can't move my character at all

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Be at 300.6 weight with a satchel that reduces the weight of my mined ore and then get disconnected.

Upon logging back in, I am able to use the unstuck button but when it gets done with the channel nothing happens. I still can’t use the tab button to access my items. I am overencumbered because of the ore in my bags weighing what they normally should after the disconnect. I can open the map but when I try to select an upgrade to my Everfall standing it doesn’t go through and just asks me the same three options again. I can’t fast travel because I am overencumbered. Also when I log in everyone in town is standing still. I think the game still thinks I’m disconnected. What is weird is I can still communicate in chat.

have you used unstuck?

It has been a problem since beta at least.
Using unstuck in the game menu or relogging is the only option right now.

I forgot to mention I have relogged two times as well. The second time I let the world disconnect me due to inactivity. I am hoping the disconnect due to inactivity changes something. The unstuck button finishes the channel and does nothing.

Oh wow that is new to me. Every time this happened to me unstuck worked. I hope you get help.

Just waited through a 1,100 queue and still can’t move my character at all. Does anyone know a solution?

I have the same issue jhipp20, i’m Hyarog on server Nysa, just created a topic too

Man I feel for you. I’m hoping we don’t have to wait until the next server maintenance to play again.

i have sent a request and our issue has been reported, for now just wait for a fix unfortunately

i have kind of the same problem.
My character just dont sync with the server. i can read and write in the chat but not more.
There is no response from the server, even when im connectet to the server.

i have the exact same problem, chatted with customer support and they told me to write a feedback ingame… probably gonna take ages to fix.

the weird thing is, that i can create a new character and play with that one perfectly fine. just the main one is stuck

Got this exact same issue aswell. Cant seem to get any help with it tho :confused:

Same issue here and I am GM of company. This issue needs fixed ASAP as I can play fine on new toon on different server. Can’t move on my main and I have tried to fast travel , / unstuck, and teleport to INN… NOTHING WORKS to get me out of this mess. At 4 a.m. this morning support told me it would ’ be resolved in a few hours’ WRONG not resolved as of yet.

Same issue… logged out yesterday night and when I logged back on I was frozen.

I’m next to the storage shed and can access it, but can’t see any of my items in the shed. Strangely enough I can see the items in my bag though. Sometimes I’m next to people and can ‘interact’ with them, but the Trade button is greyed out. My friend said that they can’t see my character to interact with though.

When I access my other character there are no issues and can play on it just fine.

Hi guys, there is a big topic with a reply to a support, i invite you guys here, to come on this topic https://forums.newworld.com/t/lag-detected-followed-by-stuck-character-time-since-last-response-until-disconnect/278717/210 and add your experience of the issue on it with the google doc and collect more information if you wants to know more about it or ask a question to the support guy.

This is happening to me right now on El Dorado and i’ve tried everything from restarting game, restarting computer, doing /unstuck, recalling, verify game files… stil cannot move sigh
