Game client Crashing on Load

I am having difficulty loading the game starting today at 700pm est. Have tried to reinstall client without success. I reach the character screen but my characters don’t load and the menu just spins.

I would like to dig deeper into this issue you are having, can you check if you have any drivers or windows updates pending?

Also, you can try verifying game files integrity Steam Support :: Verify Integrity of Game Files to check if that corrects the issue as it sometimes helps better than reinstalling

Our company leader had this issue today. He uninstalled new world. Then he uninstalled steam. You would probably be best off if you uninstalled all steam games and then steam itself. Then reinstall and relaunch. The first load might take some time as it creates files and connections for the first time.

Definitely verify files as customer service suggests. But if the problem persists, try my suggestion.

Thanks for the reply. I did a client uninstall and reinstall. Checked local files through steam. No pending graphic driver or windows updates. I was playing game up until 5pmest no changes to environment now cant get past character screen.

Tried your suggestions still can’t get my characters to load. Really frustrating. Nothing changed but 2 hours after I last played can’t log in.

Thank you CryoFear for the troubleshooting provided.

Checking the Forum, this issue might be related with the verify the AGS Files that are linked within New World. Follow this troubleshooting :

1. Windows + R type in %APPDATA%
2. Go to Local and Roaming (Both files will include an AGS file) and open them.
3. Rename the AGS sub-folder ‘‘New World’’ to something different like ‘’_New World"
4. This will refresh the cache files within New World and remove the error launching the game.

A previous Forum I was working with a another players, we found the only solution for this launching error was this troubleshooting, you can check this Forum with this link: Main Menu buttons don’t work + character/Worlds wont load . It also have another possible troubleshooting there.

Please let us know as soon as possible if after these troubleshooting the problem persist.
