got it guys thank you for all that information , would you mind to share with us your logs and dxdiag?, we will need to further investigate what is going on with the game, if don’t know how to find your game logs and dxdiag just check out the inf below

1)Instructions for generating a DXdiag: Open and run DxDiag.exe

2)Instructions for finding the in-game logs:

Press Windows+R on the keyboard, type %appdata% and press enter.
Open the most recent file from this folder: /AppData/local/AGS/LogBackups.
Paste the contents of the file into your message.

my file doesn’t have Logbackups cant upload the dxdiag cuz of it being text can only attach images

game if i put the game into windowed and wanted to fullscreen it this is what happens

It is because you need to use a different route

Windows+R type %appdata% in your search bar

—> hit enter----> click on appdata —>then click on local —> ags->New World—> logbackups

Hi Muzz, thanks for being responsive in this thread. I have experienced the game freezing up as well. Started happening only yesterday. Prior to that, have had 300+ hours on this game without any issues. Game is unplayable now, since I can’t quest on my 2nd character without the game sporadically freezing and my character getting killed by mobs.

im having the same issue with heavy force i cant provide my LOG right now but will be when i finish my work

this issue happen only yesterday the game crashed 4 to 6 times its freezing . then only way by closing the game

My current crashed issues happened to me Today (11/5/2021 8:09 - 8:11 AM). Please help me, They crashed me 10 times atleast even though I tried VirtualMemory, Turnoff Overlay, VerifygameOn Steam, Uninstall game, Tried VPN, Delete savedata,preload_settings, Update Nvidia Driver 496.49, Using EasyDriver for all updates,… !

Hello! So I’ve been having a very similar issue. during early levels it doesn’t happen much but during instance based events and exploring shattered mountain really increased how often it started happening.

Basically, the game will freeze up out of the blue. doesn’t fully close but I have to alt f4 to get out and use task manager to kill the program before I can re open it (steam will say “new world is already running”)

Initial things I tried: uninstalling and reinstalling the game, turning down detail, turning up the speeds of my RAM as when this happens task manager shows that its using 80-90% of my memory, tracking temps and adjusting fan curve for more aggressive cooling, repairing game and EAC files to no avail.

My systems specs are: x570 asus tuff motherboard, Gigabyte 1080ti gpu, ryzen 7 3700x cpu, 16g of 3600mhz ram, and 1k watt power supply.
