Game crash on startup

Any working update from the developers?

I have seen alot of suggestions, using msi afterburner to reduce load etc.

But i want the game to work out of the box, just like all the other games o own, i dont want this unstable game. We really need some updates from the dev’s on this.

I’m sorry that the game keeps crashing on you! If you are still running into this issue, please try these steps to see if we can get this working for you:

1- Win key + R

2- Type %appdata%

3- Go to AppData > Roaming > AGS > New World

4- Delete the Savedata folder and the user_preload_settings.cfg file.

5- Reboot the PC and you’ll see that the files deleted would be recreated.

This should fix the issue. However if the problem persists don’t hesitate to contact back to find a fix for your particular issue.

I tried to reinstall the game, and run it. The game dont even get to a point where the savedata and user_preload_settings.cfg files are created

Please solve the issue.

Hi I have the same problem since yesterday, 6 hours of trying different things, nothing helped, I have the same issue as @spamfilter when the first screen start to animate, it crashes.

Only thing that halped me was to set all visuals to LOW, FPS capped at 60. Then i had to put max power on my GPU at 65% And i tried diffrent fixes for 3 days.

The thing is, we can’t get to that screen where you change settings, the crash comes before the “amazon games” logo appear.

me to two days trying to fix this and i did everything 232 hours and then the game does this ???
