Game client crashed while gathering. After the crash, steam would not allow me to launch the game. I restarted Steam then my game showed as being uninstalled. When I reinstalled the game, everything worked as expected. - Is this a bug or an exploit:

I sadly do not have any screenshots of the errors. - What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced:
I was playing for several hours before it happened, all I know is I was gathering and my client crashed. I performed the following steps:
- Client crashes
- Attempt to play game again from Steam
- Steam gives an error
- Restart computer/Steam
- Game appears to have been uninstalled from Steam
- Reinstall game
