Game crashes and causes PC to restart as well

Game crashes and causes PC to restart since Christmas. I have reinstalled, checked files, checked windows files, Changed the virtual memory size and location, change windows performance settings, change in-game settings such as fullscreen to window, lowered everything to low and even deleted the local settings files, noticed the error says fishing which I rarely do but unequipped my rod and deleted it away, tried a second GPU, stress tested my CPU, GPU, NMVe, and RAM. Made a support ticket that I get a email back but seems after that communication is broken after the first response, no ticket number or any time of identifier is given for the web ticket either.

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: I am crashing a lot in the past 2-3 days, normally within 5mins and I see this repeated in my logs over and over [Info]: [WARNING] FishingComponent: Fishing: TransitionFishingState invalid transition from FishingUnequipped to FishingEnded

(Date and Relative time; please include your timezone) Time zone is EST, date would be Dec 25th, I think the first time it happen I was in Mourningdale on the large stone bridge looting a chest, not sure what got looted if I did I would try to delete said items to see if that would help.

Please make sure to add the DxDiag and Gamelogs through a sharing link from a Cloud Storage like Google Drive to the support report, you can pull it following this steps:

DxDiag report:

  • Go to Windows Start search bar and type dxdiag.
  • Click on dxdiag.exe.
  • When green progress bar goes away, select Save All Information and save the file to their desktop.

GameLogs:

  • Game logs can be found on: \Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\AGS\New World\CrashDB\reports\

Submitted two tickets so far waiting for replies from them, first email I got a reply saying they could not find my ticket and to reply to the original email which I clearly had already done. Sadly since the emails lack a ticket number, they could not correct the issue, causing me to open another ticket and seems the same is happening again. So I will open a third one I guess.

Some feedback on the ticket making process: Please include ticket numbers in your emails to avoid these type of issues or something at the tail end that identifies the email as being part of a ticket that is already open. Additionally, a built in way to provide the logs requested would be nice too, rather than relying on a cloud competitor to host it for you.
