Game crashes everytime I attempt to fast travel

In short the game keeps crashing everytime I try to fast travel (from what it seems) I have tried uninstalling the game and then re-installing and still not fixed it. I was not having any issue with this when the summer fare started but I have recently tried to play again and now it just crashes. The length of time varies on when it will crash sometimes it will be the first fast travel or other times I could fast travel 5 times before it does it.

PC specs:
Nvidia 3090ti
CPU core i9 12900KS
64GB ram

I have made sure all drivers are up to date

If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this please help

I am sorry to hear you seem to to be having crashes when attempting Fast Travel.

Please try the following steps in order to troubleshoot this:

  1. Good job on ensuring your video drivers are up to date.
  2. Set Windows power settings to High Performance.
  • Press Windows + R, type “powercfg.cpl” into the Run window, and then press Enter.
  • Select the radio button next to the High performance power plan. You may need to click Show additional plans first.
  1. Adjust your in-game video settings. (sometimes just changing them back and forth will reset the issue)
  2. Clean boot Windows by following these instructions:
    How to perform a clean boot in Windows (to reduce startup applications/Check for Malware).
  3. Reset your video driver software to the default settings.
  4. Check for evidence of overheating.
  5. Please verify the integrity of game with the Steam integrity check

Im having the exact same problem, started happening after the most recent patch. Was perfectly fine before it, I always hate when a game releases a patch that can make the game completely unplayable for some people. I’ve tried all the suggestions I’ve seen and nothing has worked, just got back into the game too and I can’t even play it for more than an hour before it crashes, love it.
