After patch 1.2, the game client crashes constantly. Moreover, there is no behavor pattern. Installed new drivers and later versions, no effect. I already created a theme, however Amazon did not answer me. There is an error in the logs every time -
[Info] (AZCore): [Rendering] Present failed, error code -2005270523. Attempting to recover…

I tried quite a bit. I discovered EAC did not appear to be installed at all when I looked in the NW folder. After the graphics update for Nvidia, but BEFORE the new patch, I was able to play just fine. After patch, no dice. When I check the logs, I get several ReadMemory errors. My memory is less than 6 months old and New World is the only game to give me any sort of memory issues, at least in logs.

have tried validating game files, have updated all drivers, have ensured PC is updated, before patch was able to play on high graphic setting i set them to low and makes no difference. FPS is not an issue it will hold steady at 60FPS and then just crashes let me know if you need more info

So, I cleaned all of my drives, performed a clean install of Windows 10, than upgraded to Windows 11. All seems fine currently. However, having to re-install Windows should not be a viable solution. The logs have been provided to the devs in the past for this same issue but it has not been acknowledged or addressed from any of the forums/posts I have seen. It was time for a refresh on my PC anyway. If I have any further issues I will continue to post here, but it was definitely something either in the new patch released, or in the Nvidia driver released a day before.

okay killbo how long have you gone without a crash? i cant make it more then 15min currently

Try to increace virtual memory in windows, it helped me. Looks more stable with a larger memory buffer. I have 24Gb RAM and it’s not enough for NW LOL! The game can still crash, then I need to reboot the system, otherwise it freezes when loading. Not sure but it looks like the game engine is not clearing the memory buffer or memory related variable.

Okay will try that tonight and see if it works, I doubt I’m gonna have any luck if your struggling with 24gb I only have 16gb just frustrating that everything was fine until this patch, any guess as to why only a few of us are impacted?

Had nothing to do with it. I have 64GB or ram lol
