Game Crashing at loading screen

Hey there,

couldn’t play for a few months, but here i am… well at least i thought i was back…

i made all the game and GPU driver updates, but when i chosed a character, loading screen appears, and then the game crashes.

i looked for answers on forums, blogs, discord, but the informations are quite “dense” and couldn’t find any helping me with my issue.

so then I uninstalled the game completely, i re installed it (i’m using Steam)
it’s even worst now, the game crash during the 1st loading screen.
i made corrupted file scan, nothing.

it did work once, since i have a lvl 60 toon…

hope someone would come with a solution.

Maybe if you posted your hardware specs you would get some feedback. I had a similar issue waaay back in beta testing and it turned out to be my Power supply, after I changed it I havent had any real issues. Good luck.

i’m using the same laptop for 2 years, and i could play 500+ hours on New World (steam) with it.

i tried all the steps i could (re install, other drive partition, repar/check all stuffs, updated all drivers…)
only stuff i can’t do is run as admin, cause it prompts “unexpected steam_appid txt” each time.

seems several other people are posting here about that same issue…

Cant get past first loading screen

Hey there, after the last update I cannot seem to get the game started. I always get stuck in the first loading screen.
