It’s not about the scaling numbers idiot. It’s about the way the damage is applied. Ice storm, ice pylon, pillar of fire, flame thrower, hell even the useless rain of fire can put out crazy aoe. The problem I was pointing to (which I guess you missed intentionally or is to complicated for you to understand) is that a mage can continually throw out stupid amounts of useless aoe damage that does next to nothing yet still be placed in first place at the end of the match with 0 kills. So nah, you can stfu.
Melee is NOT the basis of the game. I’m a ranged mage and have been since day 1 with no plan on ever going to mele.
Achievables suck for pvp. Go back to old school bf1942 or css. Hell go back to doom even, or goldeneye.

No one is talking about eqalizing skill. We are talking about normalizing chracter lvl and item lvls. So you take dude that is lvl 30 and scale him up to lvl 60 - more attibutes he can spent inside game mode. Then you take his 300GS items and scale them up to 625 - again, moer attributes nothing else. And this would do.

What are you talking about? Europe has got more than 3 Servers and 2 German Servers. All European Servers have had a merge and they are all alive and kicking.

The game mechanics will allow you to have all T5 stations and they will be immune to invasion downgrades. Instead of trying to have them all in 1 town, spread them out. If a town has 10 or less total upgrades (fort and town), it will never lose anything to an invasion. That means that it only takes 3 towns to have everything and it cost less in upkeep to do so. On Roca, we had everything available T5 all the time, in fact, the smelter in Brightwood had been T5 continuously since February. Now that we have been merged into Barri, I’m back to having to check towns to see where to do cooldowns.
We can argue endlessly about the health of a server when it comes to dungeons, opr, etc…However, there is no excuse for a server not having stable T5 crafting and refining stations.

Do you do anything with the gear’s perks? Say a 600 has resilient, refreshing and freedom on his gear but the 300 has green gear no perks. How are the gear perks equalized? Are all perks stripped from the 600?

You cant do anything. Just scale attributes and dmg/defensive stats of items.
So the combat still wouldn’t be equalized. Would be a bit closer, but the person with the perks would still have a pretty significant advantage. I’m down with scaling damage.
Difference would be minimal. And iun mmo ppl need reason to keep playing. They need to know that there is better iteam they want to get.
