Literally the same it is now… Why not doing it way 1-25 you can choose in these zones and in later zones you have to have PVP ON… don’t even understand this “Gear luck” why not doing in only with flask/food… this is just fcking stupid to store 17 billion gear for harvesting/crafting with so limited space in your bag or stash… just stupid to have it here.
Its like you have 5x5 gear for picking shit up and then you have like 10 gears for crafting its like 100 pieces of gear you have to store… making it by flasks and food would be much much better
Everything would be solved if they marked server PVP/PVE/RP like wow have and those servers would have its rules… like PVP - only PVP on, no choice.
If you want “none-toxic” game… you should play singleplayer… coz Online will always have toxicity. Same as real life will always have murderers, people who steal etc

I feel the same way about this issue and I don’t see any reason why there shouldn’t be PvP servers. The playerbase is already split on hundreds of servers. I don’t want to grind pvp missions and burn out for someone who doesn’t give a shit an still profits massively from it.
People who want to play on pvp servers have a more fun time with like-minded people and people who don’t can stay on PvE servers and have less tryhard wars if they want to. It’s a win for both sides of the coin

I never said I was against a PvP server. What I said was mixing open world PvP with PvE is a bad idea.
The game right now is mixing open world pvp with pve. So again. What are you arguing against?

And right now we have how many posts complaining about how bad the mix currently is? Do you think the current game is working? It sure seems that it is not as neither side seems happy with what we have. Clearly few people are flkagging for the open world PvP amnd the PvP crowd isnt happy with that. The wars do not seem to be filling that need for them. Not to mention that lkeaves out most people anyway.

Something PVE players don t and will never understand is their roles in New World was supposed to be PEONS like in Warcraft, Cutting Wood, Mining Ore, bring to the town, do PVE quest to help the town board to increase the City in the meantime, PVP players are defending them Farming and defending the territories and trying to ambush the ennemy factions.
PVE players will never understand this ! They want everything and do not want to play as cooperative, they want to solo play all the way.
Sorry if i am mad against PVE players that took so wrong direction in this game and are leading the game to it s death.

I am all for a couple of PvP servers per region as needed. If done right it might be a lot of fun. I love PvP in a game where it is built properly and balanced well. The failure usually comes when a game tries to balance both.

There is a lot in the game right now that is failing and needs work. The economy looks terrible right now. The wars seem meaninglerss and poorly implemented(from what I read as I am not high enough to participate). I feel they need more invasions from a lower starting level.

Needs more than that. Right now all I see is complaining about every weapon in PvP by someone. Seems everything except the rapier is OP.
nah just lifestaff is op, and greataxe gravity well is bugged which makes greataxe op, and hatchet is just cringe but we deal with it.
and we have a topic that ice gaunlet and fire staff is OP. Seems someone always thinks whatever killed them or in the case of lifestaff cant be killed is OP.
I have to agree the combo seems OP, each weapon by themselves seems fine except I think ice is the culprit here being a bit higher on the powerscale due to the absurd crit stacks.
