Game fails to open

Just started playing New World on Steam. Have played about 3 hours now, and opened the game maybe 4-5 times. Now, when i try to open the game either from desktop or from Steam, i get a windows pop up error that says: “Unrecoverable Error: No product information found, cannot initialize game. Please contact Customer Service for this product”. This is my attempt at reaching someone who has either had similar issues, or who can help me directly.

Things I’ve tried to fix the game:

  1. Verify integrity of game files via the Steam Client
  2. Uninstall and reinstall the game files

What else am i to do?

If the issue persist please contact us via our live support channel so we can investigate your issue: Contact Us | Amazon Games.

As we will need some personal information from your account. Be sure to have your game logs ready just in case they ask for them.

You can access your game logs from: Users\AppData\Local\AGS\New World\LogBackups
