Im totally enjoying New World… still. Im not having so much free Time but i invest as much of it as i can to push my char and play OPR, Invasions, Expeditions and so forth. There is so much to do and sometimes i feel a little Stressed because i cant do everything, but thats fair. Thats a good sign for a game in my opinion because you want to come back and do stuff. I cant understand all this little cry babies on the forum. The team behind new world is soo motivated and is really trying to satisfy the community. With every update you add something new and making the game a little bit better. There can be bugs i can live with that because i know that it will get fixed. I just needed to give the whole team some positiv feedback because there is so much negativity here. And i think its not fair to not appreciate the dedication you are putting to New World. Please dont give up! The whole videogame industry is in a bad shape and is only living for short thrills. I cant enjoy thus products no more. I needed a game that is deep, fun, good looking, and maybe grindy . I needed something to put my dedication for video games in and you: you are delivering.
Each patch is adding more bugs and more bugs.
The game is now unplayable. If you think that our complains is “cry” it is not the reallity.

The negativity is justified.
How can we have hope if each patch they release to fix a bugs never fix the bugs and only do the things getting worse? Then they release a patch for the patch that says that “it was fixed”, but it wasn’t fixed.
I have a lot of posts reporting bugs. I also add detailed information about how to solve the problem and why it happens. But i never get response. If they were trying to satisfy the community, the wern’t going to release a new weapon. They were working on remove “february’s patch” that made the game unplayable.
So, the main problem is that they release updates with bugs, and say… i will fix it later… This is the problem. A new update shouldn’t be released if it is not ready to be relased. Something is wrong in AGS that must change.
The problem is right there with your mindset.If the game is unplayable what are you doing here? Go play tetris that is nearly bug free. Its the whole feedback culture we are having now. Its only negativity. Everybody is complaining = crying. It seems that no one is enjoying the things anymore. And who are you? Are you working as a game developer/Designer? Are you working at ags? Just because you play video games do you have the slightest idea how games are made? What processes are behind new features/fixes? Stop giving lessons for something you have 0 controll or power over. Start to enjoy and love things again. And if you are unhappy with what you do: change it.
With respect, quite a lot of people here are regularly flagging up issues so that the development team can address it. If people hated the game, why would they regularly take the time to make suggestions, to highlight good future ideas, to provide feedback on updates, etc.? They wouldn’t.
People definitely get a little worked up, but I always interpret this as emotional investment rather than dislike. Constructive criticism is a necessary part of any project, especially a large one like an MMO. AGS has some really great elements in this game (the game looks good, sounds good, the combat system is good fun) but there are some elements that really need work (the questing is overly repetitive and boring, there is too much copy paste of assets) and some things that have the potential to kill the game entirely (the terrible lag in OPR which makes it unplayable for me - I WANT to play OPR, but the lag prevents this).
You say if you are unhappy with something change it - we aren’t the developers, but we can make suggestions.
Im totaly with you my man. There has to be feedback but the way how it is done is really anyoing me. 98% i read is mimimi and wahwahwah. I know that people love the game and are dedicated so they get a little bit louder and angrier but in my opinion there has to be some love and positivity amongst us!
