I like the different modifier’s idea a lot. I am a bit curious how people feel about if all rolls were the light roll version. Would that be a good solution.
YES! That’d be dope.
AGAIN, YES! and YES!
I’ve got one for you to consider adding to the list for AGS…
Fix the system coding to recognize I’m doing GAME STUFF even thought I’m not pushing WASD. Like, when I’m selling lots of things, or searching the Trade Post… or when I’m fishing… it is seriously frustrating to have the AFK timer ask me “are you still there?” Like, no shit I’m still here - you can tell I’m clicking mouse buttons!
And if it’s something to do with bot behavior, don’t get me started… because the solutions in place obviously do not deter bots.
Well, my approach is completely scalable (because of the scrollbar). Tabs approach is not.
It would use current inventory + modified storage GUIs so developers doesn’t need to reinvent the wheel too much (faster to develop, most of it already tested).
Maybe they should not show items that are currently saved as presets in the inventory nor in the storage. This way, you would manage items only if you want to modify your presets.
At least for me, makes sense load into and save from your currently equipped gear set. You only need to set a descriptive title for it.
That approach would allow a player to completely remove all the gear items from inventory/storage. To have them isolated in presets.
Unfortunately, I guess they’ll cap ![]()
I definitely like this idea, would level the pvp playing field, if even a little bit. (resilience stacking with all the shirking fortitudes on top of shirking forts stacking with other shirking forts is still a problem)
I would love to explore this as a viable option for sure!
YES, I agree with this so much!
Another YES. The system that was set in place to deter bots, doesn’t do that at all… it deters actual players doing menial things… like fishing, selling stuff on the trading post, managing storages - pretty much anything that refrains from pushing WASD keys… and then blam, we get booted. It’s a garbage system for sure. Adding the idea to the list.
Yeah, the bot thing… right back to this.
When i’m out farming for an hour, I can see the same 3 bots (with more often than not… Google PW generated names - not usually what a human would pick) following the same pattern of movement from node to node - attempting to gather an empty node point (mind you not going to the one actually there, as a human would do), nor turning around when the node spawns (like a human would do)… the stagger step attempt to gather is recognizable… it pathetic these haven’t been addressed more to get rid of them.
Hands down, I agree 100% - time for AGS to hire a couple in-game human mods per server to pop into game - play a bit - catch them in the action, or at the very least pop in as a response to when a “bot-player” is reported as being a bot - let the mod essentially check for proof of human-life behind the character and then IP ban or anything else that stops them from creating a new one (out of my knowledge league there on what can be done from that side, but I know human mods would help many situations in game not just bots)
I’ve been thinking about a Housing revamp - I posted this in the Discord when the OP dropped this link in there.
How about if every territory you’d visited (or perhaps reached standing level 10 in) contributed a ‘housing point’, added to a base number of 3 points.
Current total (pre Brimstone) of 11 territories, so 14 housing points if you have standing level 10 everywhere.
Each Tier of a house costs 1 territory housing point with the normal territory standing requirements for unlocking the house tiers that you can buy.
When a new territory is added, the maximum goes up by 1 point
This would add an additional Azoth Sink for resetting cooldowns, and enable you to recall to more than the current 3 houses and 1 inn, giving players more housing options.
The @aimpoint /crosshair point should be adjustable in size /color for those that do not have great vision. Basic white aimpoint that is hard to see in heat of battle or in the forest of Ulta lighted greenery, or running through the haze and rain. Thinking neon red / orange ![]()

OMG - YESS!!
Larger… customized color… something to make it easier for me to see in the world/fights.
If I recall… Lost Ark has a customizable pointer that I made large and bright pink - stands out against all the special effects nicely.
Added this to the list!
good ideas
I feel it would level regular chasing out, and very much so balance the armor types. My post on armor dodge and heal balancing if you read through it carefully would theoretically fix alot of current issues without much game alteration.
Now i did have to rewrite it alot to make it more understandable, so people were very against it at first because it sounded backwards feom what i was meaning. It now even has a brief explanation why the changes help.
Also if these proposed changes were all voted on in the forums condensed together, thatd be lit. Kindof like how Old school runescape has content votes. Majority wins.
I don’t like the crafting station idea. but I do like the idea of not having to equip it. they should let you add it to a house as a clothes horse or a trophy that you add clothes/earrings to that automatically applies.
having it tied to a single station would not be good though.
-
get rid of gold cap
-
add better search functions to tp
-
make it easier to see if you have learned a recipe/schematic
-
ability to name storage settlements
-
ability to rename items in inventory
6 ability to search thru all your storage
7 ability to pull items from all storage when crafting.
-
be able to pull storage from tent.
-
ft to your tent spot.
would be my top ten.
Picture is cool and makes a lot of sense for the UI. I just want this to be a button you access to open that side window to enter the set manager.
I just think overall though that set pieces specifically for crafting and gathering gear needs to just become a mannequin that goes in your house and provides a global buff forever.
Going to town and playing dressing up and inventory management when I want to do x y z is simply not fun or good gameplay.
I’m a master gatherer/craftsman because of these hands.
A master chef will make a great meal regardless of his pan/knife whatever, you get the point.
We already have to worry about the tool grind / legendary tools.
We have to worry about 4 PvE sets - Corrupted, Angry Earth, Lost, and Ancient.
1 Open World Luck Set for chest runs
2 PvP sets - maybe one for arena and one for wars
Then all these gathering/crafting sets.
At least give us the option to make a mannequing where we can place these sets of armor and make crafting/gathering global because to have to worry about 6-7 sets on a daily/weekly basis is so annoying it’s not even funny.
Also the whole crafting menu should just be like WoW where I can rummage in my inventory while crafting simultaneous and see drops as they come up. It would make it so much easier to just see what’s going into my bags in real time.
If you can go into your inventory while running why can’t you go into your inventory while crafting?
There has to be a way to consolidate the UI somehow to only show relevant information.
Please include always visible party markers. There’s a specific range where the marker goes away but the player isn’t actually visible for a nameplate. It causes finding party members more difficult than needed.
Mouse clamping to game. This really only affects if you share your mouse or have multiple monitors.
Auto-follow when you’re guiding friends would be nice but not necessary.
2500 hrs here, have followed the game for a very long time as well, all of these are top notch suggestions!
i think this is close but they need to make sure they also tie in a respec with each gear preset. Everytime we swap just 1 piece of gear we have to respec, might as well include it in the saved presets.
Its shocking to me that people are crying for Fresh Start servers meanwhile there’s real issues about things that are affecting peoples ability to keep playing this game, long lasting customers who WANT TO PLAY but frequently run into real issues with no responses. Issues like everything listed in this post. Stop talking about fresh start, all those people are going to quit again just like they did before then those servers will roll into the existing servers and then what?
